Khadiyah Lewis of ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta’ Dead at 44
Reality TV personality Khadiyah “KD” Lewis has died at age 44.
Lewis was known for appearing on seasons 3 and 4 of VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta, which aired in 2014 and 2015 and featured her relationship with rapper Yung Joc.
According to her obituary, Lewis died on May 30. Services will take place later this month in Oklahoma City. Her brother Jamaal Lewis confirmed her death to The Shade Room, which was first to report the news.
“This has been an extremely emotionally devastating time. All prayers, condolences, and well wishes are sincerely appreciated,” he said.
Lewis’ brother Elijah Inegbedion paid tribute to his sister in a Facebook post on June 2.
“Been at a lost for words for some days now,” he wrote. “And to think that I’ll ever have the words to describe the person you’ve been and the legacy that you left behind would be erroneous. Long Live my sister Khadiyah Lewis.”
Inegbedion went on to say that his sister “left behind a legacy most individuals can only dream of … God blessed me when he made me your baby brother and for that I am eternally thankful. You are forever on my mind and in my heart.”
In her Instagram bio, Lewis described herself as an “Entrepreneur/Speaker/Consultant/Accountant,” as well as a “branding ambassador.” Per her obituary, she attended Northsprings High School and Florida A&M University and worked as a business and tax consultant.
