North West modeled for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS holiday campaign

North West isn’t shying away from the spotlight. The famous 12-year-old has just appeared in SKIMS’ new holiday ad featuring a limited-edition collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market. Cactus Plant Flea Market is an American fashion brand known for its designs containing faces with four eyes.

“North West for Cactus Plant Flea Market x SKIMS, launching November 20 at 12PM ET,” the Instagram post caption featuring North reads. North is seen in several photos with long, blue braids and a matching athleisure sweatsuit. She paired the look with large fuzzy white boots. In another posted clip, North twirls her braids and walks into her dining room as holiday music plays in the ad. “Everybody’s wearing SKIMS,” North says to the camera.

Kim Kardashian couldn’t be prouder of her preteen daughter. She reposted the SKIMS photos to her personal Instagram account. “Having North in this campaign makes it really special for me; she brings so much personality to the pieces,” she said in a press release, according to Page Six.

Khloé Kardashian praised North West’s participation in the SKIMS ad

Fans remain divided on their feelings about North West modeling for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand. On one hand, some fans love how Kim includes her daughter and allows her to shine. On the other hand, some fans think Kim shouldn’t push her preteen in front of the camera too soon, as it exposes her to public scrutiny online.

“I kinda wish she wouldn’t get a platform at all at this age,” one fan posted to Reddit.

“This child is way too over-exposed … it’s just too much too soon,” another fan wrote.

However, Khloé Kardashian continues to show her support for North and Kim. On Kim’s personal Instagram account, Khloé commented on North’s SKIMS ad with a teddy bear emoji. She also commented, “Yesssssssss,” earning over 3,000 likes.

Khloé also commented on the SKIMS’ Instagram page. “The cutest,” Khloé wrote, earning hundreds more likes.

So far, it looks like Khloé is the only Kardashian-Jenner family member to comment on North’s participation in the collection. But Kim’s post also earned the attention of a few of her high-profile friends, including Lauren Sanchez Bezos, who commented with a heart and a praising hands emoji.
