Kim Kardashian Instructed Family to Not Post About Her Kids’ Locations Amid Kanye ‘Ye’ West Chaos, Source Says
Kim Kardashian and Kanye “Ye” West are at odds over their kids in 2025. After Ye’s online rants attacking Kardashian and accusing her of keeping their children away from him, Kardashian is allegedly considering seeking sole legal custody. Ye, on the other hand, says he’s already spoken to lawyers about getting his kids in his care. Now, a new source says Kardashian instructed her friends and family to hide her kids’ locations from the public eye.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye “Ye” West have seemingly entered a battle over their children: North West, 11, Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 5. Kardashian has maintained that she wants her kids to have a relationship with their father. She has also done her best to shield her children from the fights that she and Ye have. However, in 2025, Ye attacked Kardashian and the Kardashian-Jenner clan on X, claiming Kardashian purposely keeps his children from him.
In light of Ye’s recent online rant, Kardashian is taking matters into her own hands. A source told DailyMail.com that the reality star has hired additional security to guard her at all times. Additionally, she wants her friends and family not to reveal the location of her children.
“She’s absolutely horrified,” the insider alleged. “Like, every time things get bad with Kanye, somehow, they get worse.”
The source added that Kardashian “doesn’t feel safe” in light of Ye’s unhinged posts about her and the kids.
“The kids have to deal with a lot of things as it is, and now, their father is admitting to all of these things publicly,” the insider continued. “At some point, it just gets to be too much. And for Kim, this is too much. She doesn’t feel safe right now.”

Kanye “Ye” West hasn’t shied away from the public when it comes to discussing his and Kim Kardashian’s children. Under the terms of their divorce settlement, Kardashian retains primary physical custody, caring for the children approximately 80% of the time. Both parents share joint legal custody, requiring mutual consent for significant decisions regarding their children’s health, education, and welfare. Ye agreed to pay Kardashian $200,000 per month in child support and to cover half of their children’s medical, educational, and security expenses.
Ye ranted via live stream on April 30, 2025. According to Us Weekly, Ye appeared in a black hood that covered his face to allege how he was going to “go get these kids.”
“[DJ] Akademiks put that battery in my back, bro. ‘Cause I was in the airport by myself … I’mma go get these kids, man!” he said. “I’mma go get these kids, bro. I’m talking to the lawyers — it gets to the point where I don’t lose my f***ing mind where I got to get used to not seeing my kids.”

A source previously told The U.S. Sun that Kim Kardashian is not preventing Kanye “Ye” West from seeing his kids. “Kim wants to underline the point that she has never not allowed Kanye to have the kids and to be their father,” the source explained. “No one is preventing him — he’s the one who chooses to live in Tokyo much of the time. She would love nothing more than to see him take an active interest in parenting all four kids.”
However, given Ye’s recent online activity, Kardashian and her team of lawyers are “taking action” to protect her kids.
“Her team is in crisis mode,” the source continued. “The plan is to lodge something with the court this week and using the fact that Kanye stated his plans to seek full custody of the kids. The plan is to question whether he is ‘mentally fit’ to do so, and then get the ball rolling. It’s a pretty fast-moving situation. Kim is determined to get Kanye and his threats removed from her life; she says she can’t live like this anymore.”
