Kim Kardashian’s legal ambitions have been a headline-grabbing story for years. Now, her journey with the California Bar Exam is back in the spotlight. After years of studying under a legal apprenticeship program and multiple attempts to pass, Kardashian recently shared her results. Unfortunately, it seems Kardashian still has a long way to go. So, will she pass the California Bar by 2027? Here’s what betting experts think.

Kim Kardashian has a 57% chance of passing the California Bar Exam by the end of 2027, according to betting experts

Kim Kardashian recently revealed she did not pass the California Bar Exam after sitting for it in late July 2025. In an Instagram story posted on Nov. 8, 2025, she wrote, “Well … I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well‑dressed one on TV,” adding that after six years of study, she remains “all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination.” Kardashian’s announcement comes amid a moment of pride and pressure. The July exam saw a pass rate of 54.8 %, the highest summer rate in three years, but still a challenging hurdle.

Betting experts at VegasInsider, a leading source for sports and entertainment odds analysis, believe Kardashian has an implied probability of 14% that she’ll pass the bar by May 3, 2026. Her chances rise in 2027. The experts believe she has an implied probability of 57% that she’ll pass by the end of 2027, and a probability of 52% that she’ll sit the July 2026 California Bar Exam.

Additionally, the experts believe Kardashian has a 43% implied probability that she’ll pass within her next two attempts, and a 62% probability that she’ll announce her next attempt before the end of 2025.

“Kim’s recent setback has not discouraged her supporters. In fact, her renewed focus has sparked even more public interest. Her latest announcement has shortened the projected odds, with analysts now expecting her to sit the bar again within the next year,” a VegasInsider spokesperson shared in a statement.

“The outlook shows cautious optimism,” they continued. “She is favored to announce her next attempt before the end of the year and has better-than-even odds to pass by 2027. While previous attempts have been closely followed, her persistence and dedication continue to strengthen confidence in her eventual success.”

The reality star revealed that she spent nine hours a day studying for the California Bar Exam

In a November 2025 episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian revealed that she spent nine hours a day studying to pass the California Bar Exam.

“I’m really just excited to have All’s Fair wrapped and behind me so that I can just dive right on into studying and make that my No. 1 focus,” she said on the show, according to Today.

A producer asked Kardashian if she felt nervous about taking the test, and she answered candidly.

“Yeah! Absolutely. I’m not ready yet,” she said. “You know, you feel like you don’t know anything, and then it all clicks, and then you feel like you don’t know it. It’s just the craziest, most emotional roller coaster.”

“I really do need to pass on the first try,” Kardashian continued. “I don’t have another few months, I can give up.”
