Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Have a ‘Magnetic’ Astrological Connection

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker might seem like an unlikely couple to some, but they don’t see it that way. 

The Kardashians star and Blink-182 drummer have been going strong since making their relationship Instagram official in early 2021. They tied the knot in 2022 and welcomed their son, Rocky Thirteen, in November 2023.

Barker recently shared the relationship rule that keeps their marriage strong.

“We try not to ever fall asleep mad at each other,” the rocker told People, who stars in the just-released Hulu doc, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear. “[We] try to resolve, even if it’s just like, ‘Hey, I thought you were going to meet me for lunch, and you didn’t text me back right away, so I didn’t know if we were meeting for lunch.’”

“Even if it’s just as simple as, like, ‘Oh babe, I take accountability. I’m sorry. I didn’t see your text right away,’ he continued. “Just resolving anything so you don’t go to bed not feeling connected is really important.”

Travis and Kourtney’s strong bond makes sense when you consider their astrological charts. 

Kourtney, who was born on April 18, 1979, is an Aries Sun, Capricorn Moon, and Pisces Ascendant. Travis, who was born on November 14, 1975, is a Scorpio Sun, Aries Moon, and Cancer Ascendant, noted astrologer Kyle Thomas in his analysis of the couple. 

While they have different – and in some way, clashing – Sun signs, Travis and Kourtney have a lot in common, personality-wise. 

“Both of them burn hot, crave passion, and aren’t afraid of a bit of drama,” according to Thomas. Each also has an Ascendant Water sign, which means “they naturally flow and blend together in a sensitive and intuitive way.”

The couple also have a Sun-Moon alignment. His Moon sign is Aries, which is the same as Kourtney’s Sun sign, leading to a strong feeling of unity for the pair, Thomas explained. 

With Travis having a natal Sun and Kourtney a natal Venus, they’ve been able to build their relationship on a strong foundation of friendship. (The pair were friends and neighbors for years before things turned romantic.) 

But once Kourtney and Travis decided to take things to the next level, the chemistry was off the charts. 

“The way the planets link show that their physical attraction is magnetic,” Thomas wrote. “[T]hey’re action and ravenously sexually-oriented.”
