Kris Jenner Eyes TV Gold as She Pushes for Kylie and Timothée’s Wedding to Be a Broadcast Extravaganza, Source Says
Are Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet ready to walk down the aisle? The couple’s relationship has flourished amid the spotlight, with Jenner supporting Chalamet at major events like the 2025 Golden Globes and Oscars, where they shared a public kiss. Their bond deepened during the 2025 awards season, with Jenner attending screenings and festivals in support of Chalamet’s film A Complete Unknown. Now, sources suspect that Kris Jenner has her eye on the prize: a televised wedding event for Kylie and Chalamet.
Kris Jenner allegedly wants Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet to have a ‘televised event’ for their wedding
Marriage rumors continue to heat up around Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet. The happy couple has been quietly dating since early 2023, and they seem more excited than ever about their romance. While neither Kylie nor Chalamet has commented publicly about their love, photos and body language experts prove that their romance could be everlasting.
It seems Kris Jenner is also ringing wedding bells. The famous “momager” allegedly wants to make big bucks off of Kylie and Chalamet’s wedding day.
“Kris is determined to have her way,” a source told Life & Style. “She’s seeing a huge opportunity for a televised event, photos and video of the proposal, sponsors for the wedding and reception.” The source added that Kylie and Chalamet “will have to play by her rules,” as it will benefit them “as well as her.”
The insider noted that it’s tradition for Kris to “have a say” in the publicity of a Kardashian-Jenner wedding. “Kylie, though, will not have it,” the source continued. “Timothée is being polite but has kept her family at a distance, and that’s part of the reason why Kylie thinks their relationship is working so well. But try telling that to Kris, who’s suggesting a wedding planner and locations and wants to be a part of the prenup discussions. She knows how Kylie feels, but she won’t let up.”
Another source says Kris Jenner ‘demanded’ that Kylie Jenner get a prenup
Kris Jenner wants to protect her daughter’s assets in the event of marriage — and that means a prenup. Another source told RadarOnline that “Kris is demanding an iron-clad prenup before Kylie even thinks about saying ‘I do'” to Timothée Chalamet.
“Kylie is absolutely head over heels for Timothée, and Kris is totally on board with the relationship, yet she’s got this gigantic caveat looming over their romance,” the source alleged. “She’s fiercely protective of Kylie’s bank account. And while Timothée is wealthy, his net worth barely scratches the surface of Kylie’s fortune.”
The insider noted that there’s a “mad dash to get that prenup drafted” just in case Kylie decides to do “something impulsive, like running off to Vegas with Timothée.”
Timothée Chalamet might’ve already purchased an engagement ring
Is Timothée Chalamet ready to get down on one knee for Kylie Jenner? A source previously told The U.S. Sun that Chalamet bought a $300,000 engagement ring while in France.
“I have never seen him so happy,” Chalamet’s friend said. “He has been telling us for a while now how deeply in love he is.”
“The ring, made by the Parisian designer, is incredibly special and will take six weeks to complete,” the friend continued. “He’s ready to get engaged and envisions a long, happy future with Kylie.”
Celebrity body language expert and Tarot reader Inbaal Honigman spoke to Casino.ca about when Chalamet might propose to Kylie. According to Honigman, the Tarot predicts an engagement won’t happen until February 2026. This will give Kris Jenner plenty of time to convince her daughter to televise a wedding.
“The Tarot loves this relationship,” Honigman says. “It can see that the gorgeous couple are two very different people and have different approaches to fame and to the future, but the love they have for each other and the fun they have together trumps any differences they might have.”
