Ahead of the holiday season, Kris spoke on the On Purpose With Jay Shetty podcast in November 2025 about family traditions, forgiveness, and protecting her peace as the “momager” of the ultra-famous family. When the topic of Christmas came up, Kris revealed that she wraps her own gifts “all day long,” as she loves to get in the spirit. Before she filmed the podcast, she said she wrapped a gift — though she didn’t give details on the type of gift or who she planned to give it to.
Kris then explained that she and her kids “have a big contest” for the holidays every year. “At Christmas, it’s like, who’s got the best wrapping paper. But we don’t tell each other what gift wrap we’re doing. We like it to be a surprise.”
Kris then explained how Kim Kardashian potentially sabotaged the contest last Christmas.
“Well, I do Christmas morning, and all the kids’ gifts are dropped off at my house,” she continued. ‘And we all have a section, so we know, oh, these are all of Kim’s gifts …. Well, she stopped by my house last year because she wanted to check out how her gifts looked to make sure they were positioned perfectly. I’m like, oh, Lord. So, she comes by, and little did I know, she whips out her phone, and she starts doing either a Live, or it was something on Instagram, and she shows the entire world all of our packages, so now all the sisters and everybody knew.”

Kris Jenner turned 70 in 2025 — a major milestone birthday that didn’t go unnoticed. With Christmas following her huge birthday bash, she admitted to E! News that her annual holiday celebration. may look “a little smaller” than in the past.
“We always have a Christmas party,” she said. “This year might be a little smaller than previous years because we just had a big party the other night for my 70th birthday, which was a blowout bash.”
She continued by noting that she and her kids have “the most beautiful Christmas Eve dinner” at one of their homes. And the night includes “lots of fun things for the kids to do.”
“They get really excited because Santa comes, of course, with the elves,” Kris noted of her grandchildren. “And they go to bed, and we tuck them in and read them The Night Before Christmas. And then for Christmas morning, we have the time of our lives.”
Kim Kardashian admitted to having ‘insane’ Christmas decorations this year
Kim Kardashian might have the most lavish Christmas decorations among the Kardashian-Jenner family members in 2025. According to People, she posted a clip of her decorated hallway to her Instagram Stories ahead of the holidays.
“OK, we just finished decorating for the holidays,” she said in the clip, showing off the dozens of trees in her hallway. The trees were covered with lights and fake snow. “I can’t even begin to explain to you what this smells like and feels like.”
“It’s pretty insane. Look at the hallway,” she continued, showing even more trees around every turn. She also had an Elf on the Shelf hiding in one of the trees, which she acknowledged.
