Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are Instagram official.
Timothée Chalamet shares photo of Kylie Jenner’s hand
The Dune actor and The Kardashians star have been dating for nearly three years. But it wasn’t until Monday that Chalamet finally shared a photo on social media of himself with his girlfriend.
Jenner’s made a low-key debut on her boyfriend’s public account. On January 11, Chalamet won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for his role as a driven table tennis player in Marty Supreme. The jubilant actor celebrated on Instagram.
“THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!! SO TREMENDOUSLY GRATEFUL!!!!!!” he captioned a slideshow of photos of himself with his trophy. In the first image, he looks at the camera while holding one end of the award. A woman’s hand with perfectly manicured nails grasps the top half of the statuette.
While Jenner’s face isn’t shown, eagle-eyed fans immediately identified the hand as belonging to the makeup mogul.
“KYLIE HOLDING THE AWARD WITH YOU,” one person commented.
“Thank you to Kylie for these photos,” another wrote.
‘Marty Supreme’ star called Kylie Jenner his ‘foundation’
In his acceptance speech, Chalamet acknowledged his relationship with Jenner, with whom he attended the event. He thanked “my partner,” adding, “I love you.” He was more effusive at the Critics Choice Awards a week earlier, where he described Jenner as his rock.
“And lastly, I’ll just say thank you to my partner of three years,” he said when accepting the award for best actor. “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Jenner has been by Chalamet’s side as he promotes Marty Supreme, though she rarely speaks publicly about their relationship. On her Instagram, she shared multiple photos of her Golden Globes look, which involved a figure-hugging metallic gown and her hair slicked back into an elegant ponytail. In a couple of images, she posed with her boyfriend’s award. But she did not share any photos of her and Chalamet together.
This year’s Oscar nominations have yet to be announced, but Chalamet is widely expected to get a nod in the best actor category. He’s considered a frontrunner to win after taking home the top prize at both the Critics Choice Awards and the Golden Globes, though he faces stiff competition from Leonardo DiCaprio. Whatever happens, Jenner will likely be by her boyfriend’s side at the ceremony, cheering him on as he hopes to finally win acting’s most pretigious award after two previous nominations.
Chalamet has been open about his desire to win an Academy Award. Last year, he spoke to Vogue about failing to take home the best actor trophy after being nominated for A Complete Unknown .
“If there’s five people at an awards show, and four people go home losing you don’t think those four people are at the restaurant like, ‘Damn, we didn’t win’?’ ” he said. “I’ve been around some deeply generous, no-ego actors, and maybe some of them are going, ‘That was fun.’ But I know for a fact a lot of them are going, ‘F*ck!’”
