Kylie Jenner’s ‘Heart Aches’ After Death of Beloved Family Member
Kylie Jenner is mourning the death of a beloved family member.
On Wednesday, the makeup mogul shared that her dog, Norman, had died.

Norman, a greyhound, had been part of Jenner’s life for more than a decade, she shared in a touching tribute on Instagram, which included a slideshow of photos of the sweet pup.
“I still remember the day I brought you home. I had never loved anything so much,” Jenner, 28, wrote. “I always wanted an Italian Greyhound growing up, but my mommy never let me have one. Then, right after I turned 17, I got you for Christmas, and it was the best gift I could have ever received.”
“Normy, you filled my life and so many others with pure joy,” The Kardashians star continued. “Almost 13 years old, and yet I know I’ll remember you far longer than the time we got to share. I wish I wasn’t writing this post. I knew you were getting older, and I tried to prepare myself, but it’s hard losing you norm.”
While Jenner was heartbroken over the death of her pet, she said she was “happy knowing my kids got to meet you and love you.”
“My sweet Normyyyy. My heart aches for you,” she concluded. “Rest in peace, my precious Normandle. I love you forever.”
Jenner’s friends and family members were also broken up about Norman’s death.
“Why am I sobbing,” older sister Kourtney Kardashian commented on the post.
“Nooooo ! Norman,” wrote her friend, singer Justine Skye.
“NORMYYYYYYYY we love you so much,” commented Scott Disick’s ex Amelia Gray Hamlin.
‘The Kardashians’ star has many pets
Norman is one of several dogs Kylie has adopted over the years, including another greyhound named Bambi and a dachshund named Moo Pants. Before Norman’s death, she had as many as 12 pets, including seven dogs, four chickens, and a bunny named Bruce, according to People.
In a 2023 Interview magazine conversation, Jennifer Lawrence asked Jenner about the best hire she’d ever made.
“Probably my dog nanny, since I have seven dogs,” she replied.
When Lawrence asked why she had so many dogs, Jenner said she didn’t have a choice.
“Because they kept multiplying,” she replied. “One of them had children and I had to keep the family together.”
Jenner comes from a family of animal lovers. Khloé Kardashian had a close bond with her late dog, Gabbana, who died in 2018. At one point, she also owned a peacock. Kendall Jenner owns a horse as well as dogs, and mom Kris Jenner has a poodle named Bridgette. Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and their kids have also owned various animals – including lizards, hamsters, and cats – over the years.
