‘Life After Lockup’: Is Jawalia Playing the ‘Victim’ in Love Triangle With Damodrick and Qiana? [Exclusive Clip]
The drama doesn’t stop on Life After Lockup. In the September 5 episode of the We TV reality series, Jawalia acts out at her son’s birthday party after Qiana, the other woman in Damodrick’s life, shows up at the mini-golf course. When Damodrick’s stepmother tries to get her to calm down, she lashes out at her too.
Jawalia insists she’s not ‘bitter’ in the next episode of ‘Life After Lockup’
Damodrick has been playing with fire as he attempts to juggle relationships with both Qiana and Jawalia. It hasn’t been going smoothly, to say the least. Jawalia – who has a son with Damodrick – claims Qiana slashed the tires on her car, an accusation that Qiana strenuously denies.
Last week, Damodrick attempted to head off a face-to-face confrontation between the two women at his son’s birthday party. He also tried to convince the stubborn and angry Jawalia to back off pressing charges against Qiana. Now, Jawalia is walking away from the situation – and causing more drama in the process.
In this exclusive clip from the next episode of Life After Lockup, Jawalia takes her kids and prepares to leave the party while Damodrick’s stepmother, Teresa, urges her to take a beat.
“What has he done to you?” she asks, adding that she’s “acting bitter.”
“I don’t act like nothing … I’m not bitter,” Jawalia replies, saying that she’s just not happy that Damodrick’s other woman is coming around.
Jawalia has a ‘very smart mouth,’ Teresa says
After their heated conversation, Teresa weighs in on the situation.
“Jawalia has a very smart mouth,” she tells a producer. “You can try to talk to her and give her some advice. And then she’ll try to flip it on you and make it seem like she’s the victim and you’re just being mean and petty and picking at her.”
Damodrick’s father agrees.
“Jawalia’s issue is that she feels like she has to always defend herself,” he says.
But Jawalia doesn’t see it that way. According to her, Damodrick is the the real issue.
“She can kiss my *ss,” she says as she storms off. “As if I’m the problem. No, I’m not the f*cking problem. He’s the problem.”
Life After Lockup airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on We TV. Episodes also stream on ALLBLK and AMC+.
