Lindsie Chrisley Bashes Estranged Family After ‘Inaccurate’ Lifetime Docuseries
Lindsie Chrisley isn’t the villain in the Chrisley family story, she says.
“The Lifetime documentary of my family came out … and a lot of the things that were aired were inaccurate depictions of what has transpired,” the former Chrisley Knows Best star said in the October 22 episode of her The Southern Tea podcast.

Lindsie did not appear with her estranged relatives in their new show The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, which offers a candid look at the controversial family. It focuses on how Todd and Julie Chrisley’s time in prison had affected those closest to them, daughter Savannah’s efforts to get her parents released, and the couple’s eventual pardon by President Trump.
On her podcast, Lindsie said she has not watched any episodes of the Lifetime docuseries because she knows it wouldn’t be good for her “own mental health.” But friends have filled her in on what was said. In the show, both Grayson and Savannah Chrisley lashed out at their sister, accused her of selling Todd Chrisley out to the FBI. They made it clear they were unwilling to mend fences with their sibling.
“We’re no longer family,” Savannah said at one point. “Lose our last name.”
On her podcast, Lindsie said she’s become a target since the show aired.
“That has put me in a very emotional place to the point that I completely took myself off of social media altogether for the past seven weeks because I’m driving my kid to school and get him dropped off at school and realize that people are telling me to kill myself,” she claimed.
Lindsie Chrisley has been feuding with her family for years
Todd’s daughter from his first marriage has been on the outs with her family for years. She says her dad and brother tried to blackmail her with a sex tape to get her to not testify in the case. They claim she sold them out by speaking to federal agents during an investigation into Todd and Julie’s alleged fraud.
“During the sentencing, we learned that before they tried to reconcile, Lindsie wrote to the FBI,” Savannah said in one episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality. “The moment the prosecutors read the letter, my dad broke and just tears were just falling on the table and I was sitting to where I was diagonal so I could see him and it was the most heartbreaking thing in the entire world. Not only was he looking at federal prison for, potentially, the rest of his life, but also his child helped to put him there and the government put emphasis on that that day and I will never forget his face. It was heartbreaking.”
But Lindsie says the situation was far more complicated and that her issues with her dad go back years, long before his legal problems began. Now, the pair seem permanently estranged. After he was released from prison, Lindsie sent a message through her grandmother, Nanny Faye, that she’d be interested in talking to Todd. He never responded.
“He never reached out to me … I haven’t talked to him since 2023,” she said.
