Netflix’s social experiment Love Is Blind returns for season 10 with a fresh group of singles ready to test whether emotional connection can outweigh physical attraction. The new installment follows hopeful romantics dating in the pods and hopefully getting engaged before navigating the real world together. And a celebrity body language expert is already noticing which couples might really make it in the real world.

A celebrity body language expert thinks ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 10 pair Amber and Jordan have a one-sided romance

Celebrity body language expert Inbaal Honigman analyzed the reveals across Love Is Blind Season 10 for Casino.ca. According to Honigman, Amber and Jordan have a one-sided romance. Amber’s bubbly personality clearly attracted Jordan, who seems all-in on their relationship.

“When the screens open, Jordan’s chin is pointed upwards, defiant and proud, dominant,” Honigman noticed. “Amber’s chin is lowered, submissive. This is the first sign of compatibility for the pair, and the last.”

Jordan then looks at Amber as if she’s “better looking than he expected.” However, Amber’s smile “dampens,” according to the expert.

“When she’s about to hug him, Amber spreads her hands and fingers to the sides in a childlike way, like a dutiful little girl about to give her uncle a hug,” Honigman added. “Not passionate or romantic at all.”

Honigman noticed how Amber appeared to “pull back” when Jordan went in for a kiss. “Jordan whips the ring out, but Amber’s hand is curled inwards. She’s not keen or attracted to him at all. … She’s trying her best to hide it, but Amber is crushed….”

Mike doesn’t seem ‘100% sure’ about Emma, according to the expert

Celebrity body language expert Inbaal Honigman noted that when Mike and Emma meet, Mike “shows affection immediately, kissing her, and jumps ahead into the proposal, using clear, direct moves. Smiling broadly, he looks her straight in the face and proposes.” Meanwhile, Emma appeared “really nervous” before the doors opened.

“When they hold hands, Emma’s hand is on top, showing that she may be the dominant partner,” Honigman added. “They can’t take their hands off each other; their connection is real and comfortable. They’re not shying away from eye contact.”

While Mike appeared enthused initially, Honigman pointed out that he might not be “100% sure” about Emma.

“One notable detail that falls out of step with their natural connection is that Mike crosses his legs away from Emma, not towards her,” the expert noticed. “This is the one indication that he’s not 100% sure on her.”

Bri and Connor appear to feel self-conscious around each other

Celebrity body language expert Inbaal Honigman doesn’t think Bri and Connor fully connect after meeting in person.

“When the doors slide, Connor is cautious,” Honigman said. “Instead of checking Bri out, he’s trying to make a good impression, smiling a photograph smile. His self-consciousness may mean that he would struggle to let go and enjoy life, whereas Bri is very alive.”

Honigman noticed that Bri appeared “protective” by holding her hands to her heart. This could indicate that she feels “vulnerable” and “emotional.”

“As she jogs towards him, she unfurls her hands, no longer protective, and her smile is huge and genuine,” Honigman said. The couple “certainly find each other attractive.”

Honigman added that after kissing, Bri and Connor appear to tune out, “analyzing how they feel and trying to assess how the other one is experiencing it.” During the proposal, their eyes don’t meet.

“Connor likes Bri a lot, he feels proud to be embracing her, and Bri likes Connor, she enjoys being close to him,” the expert added. “They’re much less connected than the other couples, but they do fancy each other enough to try and get to know one another.”

Devonta and Brittany don’t seem to have ‘passion,’ the expert says

Inbaal Honigman says Love Is Blind Season 10 couple Devonta and Brittany “match each other’s energy, make eye contact, and start the long march into each other’s arms” when they meet.

“This makes this couple look as if they’ve known each other forever, and as if they met in person thousands of times already,” she said. “Their bond is already established, and seeing each other in the flesh doesn’t change things one way or another.”

When Devonta gets down on one knee, Brittany appears “anxious.” However, Devonta “expresses no tension,” as he “could not be more confident that this is his woman. He gazes up at her, completely secure and at ease. Their eye contact is comfortable and familiar.”

“Their attraction is not necessarily passionate, but their comfort level with each other is unparalleled,” Honigman noted. “They sit together as if they’ve known each other forever, her hand on his knee and their eye contact unbroken.”

Jessica and Chris find each other very physically attractive and appear ‘completely in love’

Inbaal Honigman says Jessica and Chris seem surprised to find each other physically attractive when meeting on Love Is Blind Season 10.

“Their initial attraction is apparent,” Honigman noted. “Jessica smiles with her full face and runs towards him, arms aloft; she can’t wait to have her man with her. Chris pauses for a moment and glances sideways, as if checking if this is a prank. He pulls a questioning face that says ‘are you kidding me,’ and then matches Jessica’s joy as he runs towards her. Both of them find each other physically attractive, and they were not expecting to, necessarily.”

Honigman added that the couple looks “completely in love” already.

“Every body language cue that they share together — her curled legs pointing towards him, his hand on her knee, her tearful eyes, his lowered chin signifying how satisfied he is … all those signs show that the impossible is entirely possible,” she said. “They’re already completely in love, even though this is the first time they see each other.”

Christine appears lucky that she found the love of her life in Vic

The body language expert has high hopes for Christine and Vic following their Love Is Blind Season 10 meeting.

“When Christine sees Vic, she smiles a full, lip-stretched, teeth showing, chin-tense, excited smile,” Inbaal Honigman said. “She’s like the cat that got the cream, and she rushes towards him, can’t wait to be in his physical presence. He must be so much better looking to her than she had previously imagined.”

“Vic holds back a moment, pausing to compose himself; he’s happy with what he sees, too,” she noted. “Vic leans to the side a little bit, turning his ear forward, which is an indication that he wants to be an attentive partner who can listen.”

The couple’s “first hug is warm and comforting,” showing how they both “feel safe in each other’s arms. … They approach each other as kindred souls, wanting to be a safe haven for one another.”

“Vic’s responses are not as enthusiastic as Christine’s,” Honigman noticed. “He operates on a much more gentle timeline, blinking slowly and talking at his own pace. He might be less excited than she is about their match, or it’s possible that he’s just a more gentle person than she is.”

Overall, Vic has a calmer demeanor, whereas Christine seems thrilled that she got so lucky in love.

According to Inbaal Honigman, Ashley and Alex are seriously compatible. This might bring them good fortune after Love Is Blind Season 10 ends.

“When they first see each other, they both raise their heads with relief, laughing when they realize they’re both as attractive as each other,” Honigman said. “This gesture, of throwing their heads back, might be subtle, but it is a positive sign of relief and attraction, not to mention that they’re mirroring one another.”

Honigman noted that Ashley and Alex mirror each other once again after their initial kiss and cuddle.

“They make eye contact for their proposal, creating a human, personal connection despite all the cameras around,” she continued. “They’d have picked each other out of all the people in the world, not just out of reality show contestants. This isn’t a showmance but a true romance. When Ashley reaches up to kiss Alex, her cheekbones are popping, showing that she’s smiling.”

The couple’s eye contact is also a surefire sign that they’re genuinely excited about each other.

“Towards the end of their face-to-face encounter, they both start thinking how much their lives are going to change — they each hold their hands in front of their bodies protectively, and then they both look upwards, then lower their eyes, pensive,” the expert added. “They’re not euphoric, in the sense that they’re thinking about the realities of marriage, but the fact that their moves mirror one another is an unmistakable sign of compatibility.”
