‘Love Is Blind’ Is Headed to Denver for Season 9, and We Have Concerns

Days ahead of the season 9 finale, photographers captured Megan Walerius, aka Sparkle Megan, and a mystery man outside of her home in Denver. The unidentified man was carrying a newborn, the U.S. Sun reported.

So far, Megan has not commented on the rumors that she welcomed a baby after filming wrapped. Production on the latest season of Netflix reality series took place between March and May 2025, meaning it’s possible for Megan to have had a baby since filming ended.

But perhaps the biggest clue that Megan has a baby came in the season 9 reunion trailer. The teaser hints at some bombshell news from the entrepreneur.

“Megan said that she wasn’t sure she was cut out to be a mother,” host Vanessa Lachey says.

“Megan, do you still feel like you’re not cut out to be a mother?” Nick Lachey asks.

“Today I actually have a little bit of a surprise,” Megan replies.

Megan had concerns about becoming a stepmom to Jordan’s son

During her time on Love Is Blind, Megan made a pod connection with single dad Jordan Keltner. But their romance hit some roadblocks once they stepped into the real world, particularly as Megan began to consider whether she was up to being a stepmom to Jordan’s 5-year-old son. She was also worried that she’d have to give up her lavish lifestyle to be with Jordan, who embraced a more modest way of living.

Ultimately, Megan walked away from the relationship just days before her scheduled wedding.

“I’m sorry for not feeling more compassion for you and understanding and giving you what you needed in a fiancée. I just can’t do this,” she told Jordan.

Megan defended her decision in a confessional interview with producers.

“In the pods, I was really leaning into him being a single father [and] the excitement of it,” she said. “I don’t think I thought through how challenging it is and how I would need to make a lot of concessions to how I currently live.”

I mean, maybe I’m just not cut out to be a stepmom,” she added, through tears. “Honestly, this has me questioning if I’m even cut out to be a mom. I don’t know, maybe I am too caught up in my own life.”

The Love Is Blind Season 9 reunion is streaming on Netflix on Wednesday, October 29 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
