The people have spoken. On Sunday, Bryan Arenales and Amaya Espinal were named the winners of Love Island USA Season 7.

The couple came out on top after a tumultuous season that saw two islanders make early exits after being accused of making racist comments before appearing on the show, as well as plenty of drama inside the villa. Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe came in second, followws by Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley (who split during the finale), and Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez.

Bryan will split ‘Love Island USA’ Season 7 prize with Amaya

Bryan and Amaya could barely contain their excitement after host Ariana Madix announced that they’d won season 7.

“I feel like I’m flying in the sky right now,” an emotional Amaya said. “I feel so seen and validated … Man, I would do this ride all over again if it led me to him.”

“There’s always someone out there for you,” she added. “Don’t ever settle.”

“I don’t even know how to put it into words,” Bryan said. “Meeting Amaya here has turned my experience around. I’m so thankful to meet this person. I would do this experience 100 times over.”

After Bryan and Amaya’s win, each had to pick an envelope, which revealed who won the $100,000 grand prize.

“It’s time to find out what this experience has really been about: love or money,” Madix said.

Bryan selected the winning envelope, but he immediately said he planned to split the winnings with Amaya. (That’s typical for Love Island USA winners.)

“Honestly, this isn’t really even a question for me,” he said. “All I think about is my dad saying, ‘Money’s important, but it isn’t everything.’ Of course I’m splitting this money with Amaya.”

‘Love Island USA’ Expert Predicts This Couple Is Most Likely to Win

What will the couple do with their winnings?

“I actually do wanna donate to a charity, of course” Amaya told Madix in a post-show interview shared on Love Island USA’s Instagram

“I want to give back to a community, that’s one of my biggest passions — [which] he asked [about] early on — is just me leaving a positive impact [on] a group of people who are in need,” she added.

Bryan had a sensible plan for some of his $50,000 prize. Rather than splurge, he said he “definitely” wanted to “invest the money.” But like Amaya, he wanted to give back.

“But I also, like I told her, mental health awareness is extremely important to me,” he shared.

“I went through it when I was younger and I definitely wanna help little kids face their emotions and everything, growing up,” Bryan said.

All episodes of Love Island USA Season 7 are streaming on Peacock. The season 7 reunion will stream August 25 on Peacock.
