‘The McBee Dynasty’: Inside Dad Steven McBee Sr.’s Guilty Plea on Fraud Charges

The McBee brothers were guests on SiriusXM’s Reality Checked podcast on June 26. Host Kiki Monique revealed that her co-host Dorinda – who wasn’t part of the episode – had a thing for their dad, Steven McBee Sr..

“You know, Dorinda, my co-host, she’s normally here. And she had told me the other day, she was like, ‘Oh, I kind of have a crush on the dad of that family,” she said.

“And you look at Dorinda, and she kind of looks like a blonde Russian,” Kiki continued, laughing. “I was like, she would actually fit right in with your dad’s type.”

In season 2 of the family’s reality show (which premiered June 30), Stephen’s ex-girlfriend Galyna Saltkovska learns the rancher has been seeing her friend Masha behind her back. Both women are originally from Russia.

But given how messy Stephen Sr.’s personal life is, his sons are keen not to add more drama to the mix. Their dad getting involved with the former Real Housewives of New York City cast members would simply be too much for the family to handle.

“Tell her, do not DM my dad,” Stephen Jr. replied. “Please.”

“He will definitely respond,” Cole said.

“We don’t need to add to his pool of lovers,” Stephen Jr. added.

Steven McBee Sr. pleaded guilty to fraud last year

The McBee family patriarch’s already complicated love life is likely the least of his worries right now. The 52-year-old from Missouri is facing up to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty in November 2024 to running a crop insurance fraud scheme. The farmer and rancher conned the federal government out of millions of dollars by underreporting his total corn and soybean crop and falsely reporting planting dates between 2018 and 2020, prosecutors said. The grift cost the feds more than $4 million.

The legal drama will unfold in season 2 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys. However, viewers won’t hear directly from Steven Sr. himself, who does not appear in the new episodes.

“It is a real-life situation that we were dealing with throughout filming season 2. Obviously, right now, we’re still dealing with it,” Steven Jr. told the New York Post of his father’s guilty plea.

“Yes, we’re dealing with that, and yes, it is a really difficult situation,” he added. “But, we’re going to focus on the good, positive things that are going on.”

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
