Megan Moroney is above it all.
On Tuesday, the country star announced that her new album, Cloud 9, would be released on February 20, 2026.
Megan Moroney is in her pink era with new album ‘Cloud 9’
“It’s a long way down,” Moroney captioned an Instagram post sharing the news. She also shared an image of the album’s cover, confirming that she is firmly in her pink era. The “Hair Salon” singer wears a fluffy pink dress as she climbs a white ladder surrounded by puffy pink clouds.
A glimpse at the back cover confirmed a partial track listing, including “Cloud 9,” “Six Months Later,” and “Beautiful Things.” There are 15 songs on the album in total.
“I am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together,” Moroney said in a statement. “Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been.”
“My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love,” she added. “Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”
Not long before the album announcement, Moroney confirmed she was switching up her color palette. “Goodbye blue,” she wrote in a November 2 Instagram post, which featured a slideshow of images of her wearing the color associated with her second album, Am I Okay? And in a recent social media video, she donned a light blue dress as she walked down a blue hallway before throwing open gauzy blue curtains to reveal her new pink look.
Fans have already given Moroney’s new aesthetic their seal of approval.
“Didn’t think anything could beat the blue!!” one person commented on Instagram.
“Now THAT is an album cover,” another wrote.
