She went on to tell the outlet that “trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me” before insisting that she is moving forward with peace and clarity.
In her Instagram update about the situation, Megan made it very clear that Klay cheated on her. Aside from Thompson’s alleged inability to remain faithful, there were other issues in the romance. In her Instagram post addressing Thompson, Megan claims the basketball star has mood swings and is an all-around liar. She seems especially annoyed that he introduced her to his family, making it look like things were way more serious than they apparently were. Megan famously documented cooking a holiday meal for the Thompson family, leading fans to assume an engagement was in the singer’s sights.
Klay Thompson has not commented on the end of the romance. His NBA season has come to a close, and he’s been lying low since his final game last week. Apparently, he won’t be spending this off-season with Megan.
