Meghan Markle Breaks Cover for First Time Since U.K. Return Announcement and Netflix Bombshell
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked fans everywhere when they announced that they are moving back to the U.K. six and a half years after they stepped down as working royals. With the couple not returning to royal duties some are wondering what we can expect from the Sussexes with their return. Well, Meghan has just broken her silence about that.
There has been plenty of speculation about why the duke and duchess arre returning at all. One report claimed that it was because Meghan was in talks to secure an acting gig in Season 3 of Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series The Gentlemen.
Royal author Tina Brown then had a followup report to that and said, “I learned that the casting of Meghan Markle has been withdrawn.”
That left many people scrathing thier heads though since the show has not even been renewed for a third series yet. Moreover, the timing of this supposed new acting role with no confirmation from Nexflix or Ritchie confirming any talks with the duchess left many believing it was nothing more than a publicity stunt from Meghan’s camp.
So just what will Harry’s wife be up to when she’s back in England? According to Express, “Meghan will continue to run her lifestyle brand, As Ever, from their new base.”
And now Meghan herself has released a clip on the company’s website giving fans a preview of what’s in store. The video shows the Duchess of Sussex carrying a basket of apples as she walks through a wooded area. She captioned it, “A little hint of what’s coming” with an apple emoji.
In a email sent via As Ever, Meghan shared a message about her “new chapter” and revealed that a new As Ever wine will be released on Sept. 3.
The message read: “A new chapter to celebrate. Arriving September 3rd: Napa Valley Reserve Brut. This thoughtfully crafted sparkling wine offers subtle minerality, graceful notes of fruit, and a bright finish that invites celebration with every glass. Our Reserve Brut blends pinot noir, chardonnay, and pinot blanc fruit for a celebratory Napa Valley sparkling that is perfect for gifting and for sharing with the ones you love.”
It’s not known at this time where Harry and Meghan will live but signs have pointed to the Cotswolds in southwest England located about 90 miles from London. Some reports say that the two could live at Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s Kitesbridge Farm estate.
Those reports, however, have not been comfirmed.
DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s Cotswolds residence sits on 42 acres behind high hedges and a gated entrance. On the property are three structures consisting of the main house and two guest cottages. Some of the home’s amenities include a swimming pool, a home gym, horse stables, and a converted barn pub.
Meghan is said to have already toured schools in the area where her children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, will attend in the upcoming school year.
The Sussexes will also keep their home in Montecito, California.
