Netflix’s move comes after the disappointing performance of her two-season lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan. While the streamer has not officially confirmed that the show is canceled, it’s unlikely to return for a third season given low viewership. The show’s holiday special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, failed to crack the top 1,000 of Netflix’s most watched shows in the second half of 2025. With Love, Meghan Season 2, which was released in August, had a modest 2 million views.

“Her show did not go on so it did not make sense to continue the partnership,” a source told Page Six.

In a statement to the publication, Netflix indicated that it had ended its relationship with the former Suits star.

“Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life,” a spokesperson said. “As it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world.”

Meanwhile, a representative from As Ever said the company was “grateful” for Netflix’s support over the past year. But the business is now “ready to stand on its own” after “meaningful and rapid growth.”

“We have an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to share more,” they added.

Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand struggling, according to reports

The news that Netflix and As Ever have parted ways comes not long after reports that the streaming service’s employees were helping themselves to the pricey jams and candles that had been stored in the company’s offices.

“Apparently, there are two storage rooms packed with As ever product,” an insider revealed to Page Six earlier this year. “They’re literally just giving it away to employees — one [staffer] walked out with 10 products for free.”

Meanwhile, internet sleuths have uncovered evidence that As Ever has significant unsold inventory on its hands, including hundreds of thousands of jars of jame and tens of thousands of candles and bottles of wine.

Despite reports that the lifestyle brand is struggling, As Ever has continued to launch new products in 2026. Additions to the online store include a leather bookmark, fresh product bundles, and a Valentine’s Day chocolate bar collection.
