The country music star met the former NYPD officer in late 2018 while she was performing on Good Morning America, and the chemistry was instant. By January 2019, they had quietly tied the knot, revealing the news weeks later to stunned fans. Since then, the couple has appeared inseparable, often sharing glimpses of their adventures, from ranch life to red carpet glam.
McLoughlin is extremely supportive of Lambert, and he was often spotted at her Nashville bar, Casa Rosa. Unfortunately, he attracted the wrong attention when video footage caught him dancing with a woman in the bar in June 2024 without Lambert present. A source told The U.S. Sun in April 2025 that McLoughlin hasn’t stepped foot in the bar since the footage went viral.
“Miranda’s husband used to come in all of the time,” the source claimed. “He used to sit on the barstool, dance, and drink. He was really cool and nice. But he doesn’t come in anymore, up until recently. The dancing video added to it. Too many people recognize him now. The last time he was in here, three or four people asked for his photo, and he was like, ‘I need to get out of here.’”
The insider added that Lambert was “cool about him going to the bar” before the scandal.

The mystery woman seen dancing with Brendan McLoughlin in a video says nothing “inappropriate” between her and Miranda Lambert’s husband. The woman told In Touch Weekly that she was out with a bridal party to celebrate the bride-to-be. At one point, the woman and her friend group ended up near McLoughlin in a roped-off section of Casa Rosa. They asked him if he “would take a picture with the bride-to-be.”
“He said, of course, and we thanked him,” the woman said. “Somehow, later, we were let into the roped-off section where he was. I’m not sure how that was initiated or happened. We were all dancing together and laughing and talking, thanking him for helping to make our bride-to-be’s night so special and fun. He was gracious and polite and kind. He did a lot of laughing at us, because we are a silly bunch and were having a good time just dancing and being goofy together.”
The woman noted that McLoughlin wasn’t “flirty” with her or any of the other women. “It was just dancing, laughing, and talking,” she alleged. “He was friendly and casual, but never inappropriate or suggestive in any way.”

Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin seem to have an unshakeable bond. In January 2025, Lambert reflected on how McLoughlin’s ability to “roll with the punches” has made their marriage work.
“He is very patient and he is very chill,” Lambert told Taste of Country. “He wasn’t as chill back then, because he was fresh out of New York City. Like, they just roll. I mean, they’re hardcore. But I think him being in Nashville for the last five years has like — we’ve kind of met in the middle.”
Lambert noted that she’s not one to go with the flow, so it’s their differences that make them work. “I’m a planner,” she said. “I’m a girl, too, so I wanna … make the flow and then go with it. I don’t want to go with somebody else’s flow.”
