Anthony Edwards‘ name has been in headlines for more than just his exceptional basketball skills.

The Minnesota Timberwolves star has also made news for some of his baby-mama drama including multiple paternity suits. Edwards has four children with four different women. Here’s what we know about those suits and the mothers of the NBA star’s kids.

Daughter Aris with Daja Carlyle

Edwards became a father for the first time in September 2023, when he welcomed a daughter, Aris, with Daja Carlyle.

Carlyle is the founder of the Atlanta-headquartered shapewear company Pretti Body, which offers custom fajas and waist trainers made in Colombia. She’s also a brand ambassador for Fashion Nova Curve.

A few months after Aris’ birth, Edwards filed legal documents against Carlyle that he was their child’s biological father and requested his name be added to Aris’ birth certificate. In turn, Carlyle petitioned the court for child support. Lawyers for both parties eventually reached a confidential agreement on custody, paternity, and child support before there was a trial.

Son Amir with Alexandria Desroches

One month after his first child was born, Edwards second baby, a son named Amir, with Alexandria Desroches aka Ally D, arrived. However, the public didn’t learn the basketball player fathered another child until the summer of 2024.

While Edwards was preparing to play in the Olympics for Team USA alongside Lebron James, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant, Ally D publicly revealed that the had a “love child” together and posted alleged text messages between them.

Ally D later submitted a declaration for another one of Edwards’ baby mamas in court detailing the way he transfers his monthly child support payments to her.

Daughter Aubri’ with Ayesha Howard

The woman Ally D teamed up with is Ayesha Howard.

She is the mother of Edwards’ daughter, Aubri’ Summers. Howard and Ant-Man had a heavily publicized legal battle over child support payments.

Howard is an influencer and entrepreneur.

According to court 2024 documents, Edwards claimed Howard worked as a dancer at Magic City Strip Club in Atlanta until January 2024 before she relocated to Los Angeles. However, in her declaration, Howard said, “I have not worked in Georgia or been involved with any businesses there — including clubs — in over a decade.”

In July 2026, Edwards won his legal battle against Howard after a judge dismissed her California child support case, ruling that the matter belonged in Georgia. A Georgia judge ordered the athlete to pay $3,222 per month in child support, lowering the previous temporary $5,000 monthly payments Howard had been receiving.

Aubri’s mother has another child as well with rapper Lil Baby. Their son, Jason, was born in 2015.

Daughter Aislynn with Shannon Jackson

Edwards has another daughter with Shannon Jackson (formerly known as Jeanine Robel). Like Edwards, Jackson is a native of Atlanta.

They welcomed their daughter, Aislynn, in March 2024. Fans who watched the Netflix documentary Starting 5 will remember Edwards leaving a Timberwolves home game against the Sacramento Kings at halftime so he could join Jackson at the hospital for the birth of their baby girl.

Edwards and Jackson were married in Hennepin County, Minnesota, on July 16, 2026.
