Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Madison Square Garden wedding was labelled as the wedding of the decade by some fans. Following their extravagant ceremony, the couple reportedly had less than a month to enjoy their newlywed bliss. While the NFL left home early to practice for the upcoming season, his absence reportedly left the pop star ‘frustrated.’
The couple reportedly spent their post-wedding time sleeping in and working out together. An insider revealed that the Love Story singer also cooked Italian dishes for her husband before he left for football practice. According to the Daily Mail, an insider revealed that Kelce’s commitment to football has left Swift frustrated.
“She is frustrated because football is taking up so much of his time,” the insider revealed. They added, “He works overtime, causing them to not see each other a ton, and she would like more.” The Kansas City Chiefs tight end left in late July to practice in Missouri.
Kelce’s absence left Swift alone as the insider revealed, “Travis being in training camp has meant she has had to go out alone.” However, the couple is not letting the distance affect their marriage. They reportedly have some routines in place that help them stay connected despite being miles apart. “They do not see each other every single day, but they see each other every single week – they are very dedicated to that,” the source added.
The insider further shared that both Kelce and Swift talk to each other all the time. Kelce also reportedly tries to keep his wife happy by sending her flowers when she is out of town. “They just deal with it. They know they both have massive careers, and they love what they do, so they give each other freedom,” the insider added.
Reports previously claimed that the Opalite singer was making Kelce’s Kansas City mansion her home while he was away. However, journalist Rob Shuter recently claimed otherwise. He stated that the pop star does not have any intention of relocating there.
According to Marca, Shuter said, “Taylor Swift is not moving to Kansas City for a year. Not going to happen,” on The Nerve podcast. He further shared that the pop star does not have any tour scheduled to force her to travel. Although she could make any place her base and release an album about her time in Kansas City, he claimed that she does not want to do so.
Following their nuptials, the couple took short trips, including one to Florida for a wedding. Even when Kelce was away for practice, Swift remained on the move from one city to another. Fans spotted her in the U.K., Los Angeles, and even New York City.
Shuter further reported that Kelce is “locked down for a year, and she doesn’t want to be there.” On the other hand, Swift is enjoying her time. “She’s having a great time in London. She’s been in New York. We saw her in LA. So, she’s hanging with her friends,” he claimed.
Meanwhile, the couple had a date night last weekend in New York City. Their fashionable outing reportedly turned heads. The pop star wore a halterneck dress, while the football player was casually dressed in a shirt and a pair of pants. Their date night reportedly proved how they make sure to spend time together despite their busy schedules.
