Must-Watch Hallmark Christmas Movies in December 2025
Hallmark Channel is ticking off the days until Santa’s arrival.
The network’s annual Countdown to Christmas continues through December, with six all-new holiday movie premieres on the calendar, as well as the finales of Finding Mr. Christmas Season 2 and Baked With Love. Plus, the new limited series Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas premieres December 5. It follows Kate (Mae Whitman), a textile designer living in a quaint English village whose friends sign her up for a holiday-themed matchmaking program.
True Christmas completists will want to watch all the new Hallmark holiday flicks, but if you can’t make time in your schedule for that much seasonal romance, don’t worry. These are Showbiz Cheat Sheet’s picks for three must-watch Hallmark Christmas movies in December 2025.
‘She’s Making A List’
Christmas Queen Lacey Chabert returns to Hallmark this year for another cheery holiday flick. In She’s Making a List, the Mean Girls star plays Isabel, an inspector at the Naughty or Nice Group, a consulting firm that has developed a foolproof formula to determine a child’s niceness.
Isabel is used to making tough calls about the kids on her list. But things get complicated when she is assigned 11-year-old Charlie Duncan. Isabel unexpectedly falls for Charlie’s widowed father, Jason (Andrew Walker), and begins to question the rigid rules of her job.
She’s Making a List airs Saturday, December 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
‘Oy to the World!’
Christmas is king at Hallmark, but the network does usually make some room for movies featuring other holiday traditions. This year, we’re getting Oy to the World, a combined Christmas and Hanukkah movie. It follows a church choir director named Nikki (Brooke D’Orsay) who must team up with her old high school rival and Temple Beth Am youth choir director Jake Cohen (Jake Epstein) when a water line break forces the two congregations to share space around the holidays. As they figure out how to put on a single music program, Nikki and Jake must put aside their differences and learn how to work together. In doing so, they discover teamwork can move mountains and open hearts, including their own.
Oy to the World airs Sunday, December 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
‘The Christmas Baby’
Family comes in all shapes and sizes at Hallmark. The Christmas Baby follows a couple, Erin (Ali Liebert) and Kelly (Katherine Barrell), who find a baby boy on their doorstep just days before Christmas. With an unexpected bundle of joy on their hands, they must learn how to navigate their new relationship and career dynamics while unexpectedly caring for a newborn. But what starts as a temporary situation might become permanent as the couple realizes they want to adopt they baby themselves. That leads them into navigating the complicated world of fostering to adopt.
The Christmas Baby airs Sunday, December 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
