The streamer has an impressive array of new and returning shows on deck for April 2026. The highlights include a new documentary about an infamous religious cult, the second season of an acclaimed anthology series, and a reboot of a popular thriller that originally starred Denzel Washington.

‘XO, Kitty’ Season 3
The final season of XO, Kitty is here. In season 3, Kitty (Anna Cathcart) is embarking on her senior year of high school. She has all her goals mapped out – including defining her relationship with Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee). Then, surprise revelations throw her, off course, forcing Kitty to learn to embrace the unexpected.
XO, Kitty Season 3 premieres April 2.
‘Trust Me: The False Prophet’
Fans of cult documentaries like Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey will want to check out this four-part series about Samuel Bateman, the man who moved to take over the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS) after the arrest of Warren Jeffs. It follows cult expert Christine Marie as she moves to Short Creek, Utah, where she infiltrates the group to expose disturbing abuses.
Trust Me: The False Prophet premieres April 8.
‘Beef’ Season 2
The first season of Beef explored a road rage incident between two strangers that spawned a truly epic feud. For its second go-round, the anthology series tackles the generation gap, when a Gen Z couple (played by Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny) witnesses a disturbing fight between their millennial boss (Oscar Isaac) and his wife (Carey Mulligan).
Beef Season 2 premieres April 16.
‘Running Point’ Season 2
Kate Hudson returns as Isla Gordon, a reformed party girl who’s suddenly put in charge of her family’s pro basketball team. In season 2, she wants to prove that she’s not just a placeholder for her brother Cam (Justin Theroux). But what she doesn’t realize is that Cam is quietly maneuvering behind the scenes to reclaim his post.
Running Point Season 2 premieres April 23.
‘Man on Fire’
With Man on Fire, Netflix puts its own spin the 1980 book by A.J. Quinnell, which was previously turned into a movie in both 1987 and 2004 (the latter film starred Denzel Washington). This time, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II steps into the role of John Creasy, an ex-special forces operative struggling with PTSD who is on a quest for redemption.
Man on Fire premieres April 30.
