A new season of Naked and Afraid is coming to Discovery Channel.

Fresh episodes of the fan-favorite survival series premiere Sunday, February 15.

In “the most raw and adrenaline-charged season yet” determined survivalists will be “dropped into five of the world’s most brutal and diverse locations, armed only with their determination and without water, food or clothing,” according to Discovery.

The two-hour season 19 premiere will feature Naked and Afraid legend Matt Wright as he surprises two survivalists in the Florida Everglades. One survivalist is a rookie, and the other is a returning challenger on a quest for redemption. They’ll face intense heat, storms, insects, and alligators as they fight to navigate the swampy terrain.

Viewers will also witness the return of expert survivalists Ky Furneaux and Dan Link. The duo will face 14 days on a remote island without any tools – no firestarter, pot, or blade – in the most extreme test of human survival.

“No tools??? That’s just crazy,” Furneaux wrote on Instagram. “@dan_link_survives and I will attempt what’s never been done on a @nakedandafraid before. Do you think we will make it? Who is excited to find out?”

Instagram influencers sign on for brutal survival challenge

Another challenge brings together a group of five fearless social media influencers who will try to prove they can withstand the brutal reality of mother nature.

The teaser reveals the identity of the influencers who’ve signed on for Naked and Afraid. One is a man who goes by the Instagram handle @countrytactical. In December, he shared a clip from the episode.

“Building a Primitive Shelter wasn’t as easy as I thought…,” he captioned the post.

Perry Cornwell, aka “Frontier Farmer,” will also appear.

“Surviving out there, I found to be pretty easy,” he said in video shared in August 2025. “I was kind of in my zone. I enjoyed every second of that.”

Beau Martino, a climber, has also shared details of his Naked and Afraid journey on Instagram

“So far, we’ve built a shelter, broken a shelter, rebuilt a shelter, survived three storms, including one at 3 am, caught fish and crabs to cook over a fire, and released fish and crabs because we couldn’t make fire,” he shared in a Day 3 update. “Not dead yet!”

Naked and Afraid premieres Sunday, February 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
