Good news, ChiHards! It may only be June, but NBC has already revealed fall 2026 premiere dates for its One Chicago shows

Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med will return with new episodes beginning Wednesday, October 7. 

The night kicks off at 8 p.m. ET/PT with the premiere of Chicago Med Season 12. That’s followed by Chicago Fire Season 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and Chicago P.D. Season 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

In addition, to setting premiere dates for its trio of first responder dramas, NBC has also revealed the rest of its fall schedule. That includes the premiere of Law & Order: SVU Season 28 on Thursday, October 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by Law & Order Season 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Reba McEntire is back in Happy’s Place on Friday, October 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Immediately after that comes the debut of the new comedy Newlyweds. It stars Téa Leoni and Tim Daly as a free-spirited woman and a buttoned-up professor who marry impetuously after a whirlwind courtship.

Comedies St. Denis Medical and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins are back on Monday, November 2 staring at 8 p.m. ET/PT.  

NBC also has one new drama in its fall 2026 lineup. Line of Fire stars Peter Krause and focuses on a family of law enforcement agents who must bridge personal differences and cross professional boundaries as they tackle cases for the FBI, US Marshals, Secret Service and Department of Justice. It premieres Monday, September 21 at 10 p.m. 

All episodes of NBC shows stream the next day on Peacock.
