Harry Jowsey is a changed man – or so he says.

The Perfect Match and Too Hot to Handle alum has earned a reputation as a reality TV playboy. From his on-again, off-again romance with fellow Netflix star Francesca Farago to his dalliances with Love Is Blind’s Jessica Vestal, pop star Sia, and others, Harry is the king of whirlwind romances and messy breakups.

Now, Harry is starring in a new Netflix reality series. In Let’s Marry Harry, the Australian bad boy dates 20 different women, with the goal of picking just one with whom he’ll settle down. But is Harry really ready to commit? According to an astrology expert, he’s not faking it.

Harry Jowsey’s desire to settle down makes cosmic sense

Harry’s sudden desire for stability isn’t surprising when you look at his star chart. In face, it makes perfect sense once you realize he’s smack in the middle of his Saturn Return, according to Aiten Musaieva, a spiritual advisor and astrologer at Nebula.

What is a Saturn Return – and why is making the 29-year-old feel like it’s time to ditch hookup culture for good? In astrology, Saturn is the planet of karma, discipline, responsibility, and maturity. It takes Saturn about 29.5 years to complete a full orbit around the sun. So, when a person hits their late 20s (usually between 27 and 30), Saturn returns to the exact zodiac sign it was in when you were born.

“A Saturn Return is the astrological coming of age,” Musaieva explained. “It’s a cosmic reality check. Whatever you’ve been avoiding, Saturn forces you to deal with. It demands that you grow up, take responsibility for your actions, and lay down a solid foundation for your adult life.”

Harry was born on May 24, 1997. That means his natal Saturn is in the fiery, impulsive sign of Aries. With Saturn currently moving through Aries, Harry is experiencing his Saturn Return right now.

‘Let’s Marry Harry’ star realized his ‘reckless bachelor era has an expiration date’

For someone with Saturn in Aries, the lesson is all about mastering impulsivity, taking accountability for your actions, and learning to lead with maturity rather than ego.

“Harry is a Gemini Sun with a Sagittarius Moon – he’s spent his 20s living on pure spontaneity and charm. Aries is the sign of the self, of impulsive action and independence,” Musaieva said. “During his Saturn Return in Aries, the universe is essentially telling him that his old way of doing things isn’t going to work anymore. The fun, reckless bachelor era has an expiration date.”

This cosmic shift fits perfectly with the premise of his new Netflix reality series. Harry has openly admitted that his past dating strategies have been terrible. So, in Let’s Marry Harry, he’s handing the power over to his closest friends: Amanda Kloots, Sonny Henty, and his ex Georgia Hassarati. That trio will help him choose his future wife.

“Saturn is all about structure and boundaries,” Musaieva pointed out. “By bringing his friends in to make the tough calls and vet these 20 women, Harry is actively creating the structure his impulsive Aries Saturn desperately needs. He’s recognizing that he needs a system of accountability to make a healthy choice.”

His Harry Jowsey really ready to say ‘I do’?

Harry’s father Paul Jowsey died in December 2024 after being diagnosed with a terminal illness. The elder Jowsey chose a medically assisted death in New Zealand, and his son was by his side during his final two months.

Recently, Harry has opened up about how his father’s death changed his outlook on life. In an interview with Us Weekly, he called it a “reset” that made him realize that he wanted a serious partnership with someone he loves. This difficult realization is textbook Saturn energy, which often brings hard lessons and a desire for legacy.

“[Harry’s] Saturn Return is forcing him to look at the long game,” Musaieva said. “He’s no longer looking for the most entertaining fling; he’s looking for someone who can stand beside him in the real world. When someone commits to the work of their Saturn Return, the results are incredibly enduring.”

Viewers might tune in to Let’s Marry Harry expecting to see the chaotic, commitment-phobic Harry of the past. But this new show is catching him at the exact astrological moment he’s ready to grow up, according to Musaieva. The stars say he’s ready for a wife — now it’s just up to his friends to find her.

Let’s Marry Harry is streaming on Netflix. The finale airs August 12.
