New Year’s Ball Drop: Where to Watch Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, Nashville New Year’s Eve, and More
It’s time to bid adieu (and perhaps good riddance) to 2025.
If you’re ringing in the new year from the comfort of home, you have a number of specials to chose from. Whether you’re interested in watching the ball drop in New York City’s Times Square or want to see your favorite country stars croon their way into 2026, here’s what you need to know about New Year’s Eve specials airing this December 31.
‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2026’
Once again, Ryan Seacrest will usher in the new year live from Times Square. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2026 kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. (It streams the next day on Hulu.)
This year’s event will feature dozens of performers across New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, Puerto Rico, and beyond. Performers include Diana Ross, 4 Non Blondes, New Kids on the Block, and Chappell Roan.
‘CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen’
CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Bravo’s Andy Cohen return for the ninth consecutive year to host the news network’s New Year’s Eve coverage live from Times Square. The fun (and giggling) begins at 8 p.m. ET. You can also stream it live on CNN’s new subscription service, CNN All Access.
‘New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash’
CBS goes country on December 31 with New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. It airs from 8-10 p.m., ET/PT and 10:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m., ET/PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. The five-hour broadcast is hosted by comedian and actor Bert Kreischer and country music star Hardy and will feature performances from Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson and Bailey Zimmerman, all live from Music City.
‘A Toast to 2025!’
NBC originally planned to air a New Year’s Eve special with Snoop Dogg on December 31, but that event was canceled in early November because of scheduling conflicts. Instead, Today’s Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager are stepping up to host A Toast to 2025! It begins at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
‘Jimmy Failla’s All-American New Year’s Bash’
Fox News will air Jimmy Failla’s All-American New Year’s Bash starting at 11 p.m. ET. Failla will be joined by The Big Weekend Show co-host Tomi Lahren, Bar Rescue’s Jon Taffer and comedians Aaron Berg and Charles McBee to recap the wildest news of 2025.
