Noah Wyle first met his wife, Sara Wells, in late 2010 through their shared work in the Los Angeles theater scene. The two were introduced while collaborating with the Blank Theatre Company. Noah had been heavily involved with the company for years, according to Good Housekeeping.

The pair began to date in 2011. At the time, Noah was navigating a new chapter in his personal life following his divorce. Their bond quickly deepened as they balanced work and family responsibilities. Then, in 2014, they tied the knot on their California farm. What began as a meeting through a theater production evolved into a lasting relationship. Noah has since described the romance as continuing to grow stronger over time.

In June 2025, Sara posted a sweet photo on Instagram of her and Noah on their wedding day. She captioned the post, “11 years and there’s still no one who makes me laugh quite like you. Happy Anniversary.”

So, who is Sara? According to People, she has acting experience. She appeared in Californication and Nip/Tuck. She also acted in a 2021 episode of Leverage: Redemption, which Noah starred in. In addition to acting, she has described herself as a singer and creative performer. She also supported the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, showing she’s not afraid to step forward for activism.

‘The Pitt’ star’s kids are already interested in the entertainment industry

Noah Wyle is a father of three children. He shares his two oldest children — a son, Owen Strausser Wyle (born in 2002), and a daughter, Auden Wyle (born in 2005) — with his first wife, makeup artist Tracy Warbin. These two children were born during the height of his ER fame. Noah has often spoken about how becoming a father at that stage helped shift his priorities away from Hollywood pressures and toward family life.

After marrying Sara Wells in 2014, Noah expanded his family with the birth of their daughter, Frances Harper Wyle, in 2015. This created a blended family dynamic, with Noah raising all three children together while balancing a demanding career in television and film.

In September 2025, Noah spoke to People about how it’s been “beautiful” to see his kids be proud of him for his work on The Pitt.

“It’s been really beautiful,” the actor said. “To see my kids be proud of me and to have this be meaningful for them, for me, it has been really amazing.”

“You always hope your kids know how hard you work,” he continued. “You always hope your kids know how much of yourself you fit into what you do by example for them. This last year, I’ve really felt that they’ve been listening and watching, and it’s been impactful.”

Noah also told People that his kids seem interested in the entertainment business. His son, Owen, was taking college courses in film. And Auden appeared alongside him in an episode of Leverage: Redemption. He then went on to call his youngest, Frances, a “dynamo” who can do anything she puts her mind to. “However, the older they get and the more they seem interested in this business, the more I kind of want to hold that up as something that they might want to engage in,” he said.

In April 2026, Noah called his wife, Sara, and his three kids his “north, south, east, and west” during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony speech. “You are the reason I get up,” he said. “I thank you for your inspiration and for giving my life meaning and definition.”
