Angelina Jolie Shows Off Her Playful Side in Striking New Photos That Have Fans Talking
Angelina Jolie appears to be embracing her 50s and showing a different side of herself. The actress, who is often complimented for her picture-perfect beauty, recently let her hair down for a rather candid moment. The picture also gave her fans a peek into her playful side.
Jolie recently shared some snaps from a photo session on Instagram. The 51-year-old carousel began with a couple’s picture that showcased their funky hairstyles and trendy outfits. As viewers swiped to the second image, they caught a glimpse of Jolie pouting while placing a chunk of her hair as a moustache.
She let her freshly blow-out hair loose as they also swiped to her face. The Lara Croft: Tomb Raider star wore a satin shirt and layered her look with a jacket. Adding a playful twist to the snap, she held the jacket’s fly and brought her hands together.
The carousel also featured several other people who posed for the monochromatic pictures. Jolie explained the story behind the carousel and revealed how it honored creativity. She wrote, “Collaboration is at the heart of @atelierjolieofficial. The idea that if creative people have a place to meet, something greater than the sum of its parts comes to life.”
The Mr. and Mrs. Smith star continued to explain that the snaps were taken during an impromptu photo session that invited strangers to pose in the middle of the gallery. Jolie penned, “That’s why we invited our friend Janette Beckman @janettephoto to set up a white backdrop in the middle of our gallery for an impromptu open studio day, photographing anybody bold enough to stop by.”
It appeared that the 51-year-old also participated in the activity and flaunted her candid side. She expressed her gratitude toward those who showed up for their snaps to be taken. “Thank you to all of the familiar faces — and to the new friends — who make up our community of creatives. Here are just a few of them, captured beautifully by Janette,” she concluded.
Fans were seemingly elated to see a new side of Jolie. One of them commented, “So gorgeous, you and all the great things you do with your @atelierjolieofficial love you Angie!” while another fan penned, “When creativity meets creativity, something is born that no one could create alone.”
A third one simply called her their “idol.” Many others noted that Jolie is a “beautiful and great-hearted woman.”
According to L’Officiel USA, she revealed that she launched her fashion collective to give creative people a platform to collaborate. She brought together “a skilled and diverse family of expert tailors, pattern makers and artisans from around the world.”
Jolie revealed that she did not know exactly what to do with her gallery when she opened it. She also thought of gifting the space to artists. However, three years after its launch, she is set to take her company to an international level. She called Brazil the company’s potential next stop after the U.S.
The actress confirmed that new locations of Atelier Jolie will be open soon. Furthermore, she shared the idea behind taking the business worldwide and said, “The idea would be to visit the different locations around the world and meet local artists and makers.”
