Jennifer Lopez Nearly Spills Out of Her Dress Leaving Hotel in Milan
Jennifer Lopez knows how to command attention, and the star did just that when she made a surprise appearance at Vogue World: Milano 2026.
Lopez not only attended the event on Sept. 22 as a front-row guest, she also strutted down and twirled on the runway. During the “Made in Italy” act of the theatrical fashion presentation, Italian tennis star Lorenzo Musetti stepped out and extended his hand to Lopez. She rose from her seat to perform a choreographed La Dolce Vita-inspired dance with a dramatic twirl on the historic floor of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
For the event, JLo rocked a custom, 1950s-silhouette black strapless corset gown by Dolce & Gabbana featuring intricate baroque embroidery, beaded bustier details, and a full tulle skirt. She accessorized with sheer opera gloves, black pumps, and an eye-popping 74-carat Paraíba tourmaline from Dolce & Gabbana.
And popping out is exactly what fans were hoping didn’t happen earlier that evening when Lopez walked out of her hotel before the show.
While most agreed that she looked stunning, many commented that because of how much cleavage was bared at the top, they thought it could lead to a major wardrobe malfunction. But luckily everything stayed in place for Jenny from the block.
Lopez kept her makeup and hair relatively polished and understated against her elaborate outfit. She wore her long locks in soft waves and added pink-toned lipstick and blush to go with her eye makeup.
The singer and actress wasn’t the only star in attendance or even the only one to hit the runway at Vogue World Milano. Cardi B walked the runway in Versace, while Alicia Keys appeared in a look from Francesco Risso’s Bureau of Imagination. J Balvin wore Dolce & Gabbana, MGK appeared in Byblos, and actresses including Simone Ashley, Laura Harrier, Adria Arjona, Simona Tabasco, Madelaine Petsch and Eva Longoria were also part of the event.
Other participants included Jeremy Pope, Sam Claflin, Iris Law, Ava Phillippe, Levi McConaughey, and Matteo Bocelli. The lineup wasn’t limited to just those in the entertainment industry. Musetti, who appeared alongside Lopez, was dressed in Bottega Veneta while fellow tennis player Aryna Sabalenka walked in Gucci.
The show opened with Gigi Hadid leading the first act, titled “The Artisanal Revolution,” before the production moved through different interpretations of Italian fashion and creativity.
Vogue World: Milano was built around the theme of craftsmanship and the human touch in the age of technology, with the production examining Italy’s relationship with traditional craft while looking toward fashion’s future. For Lopez, the evening provided another opportunity to combine her established affinity for Italian designers with a high-profile runway appearance during Milan Fashion Week.
