Kim Kardashian once underwent an X-ray to challenge rumors that she had butt implants. The beauty mogul’s hourglass figure has long attracted attention on the red carpet, fueling speculation about possible cosmetic procedures. In 2011, she addressed the implant rumors on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians by showing the results of an X-ray.

The SKIMS founder is known for shifting mainstream beauty standards to a more curvy physique. Many believe that it was she who popularized an hourglass figure in the world. However, she had to prove her natural figure at the time amid swirling rumors. According to VT, Kardashian underwent an X-ray exam on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. 

The reality TV star was accused of changing the appearance of her buttocks with implants. Therefore, her family challenged her to shut down the rumors all at once. In the episode, the family decided that Kourtney Kardashian should get an X-ray of her chest and reveal what implants look like. 

Later, the two sisters’ scans were compared, and the beauty mogul won the challenge. “I am so glad that I did this X-ray just for the fact that my sister’s annoyed me and were picking on me just to get at me and the whole world doubting me,” Kardashian said. She added, “This X-ray is like the best thing I ever could have done.”

While Kardashian proved herself with the scan, it did not take much time for the debate to get back on the table. Her 2014 Paper Magazine photoshoot, in which she bared it all, brought back the implant rumors. Many speculated that the beauty mogul got her buttocks enhanced, especially after she poured champagne while a glass rested on her bottom. 

Shot by Jean-Paul Goude, Kardashian appeared to be covered in oil as she gave viewers a good look at her physique. She admitted to getting enhancement injections for her bottom about two years later. 

According to The Sun, the KUWTK star took to her subscription-based website to do a live stream. The then-35-year-old revealed that she did alter the appearance of her buttocks. “I went to go get a cortisone shot in my butt,” Kardashian confessed. 

She continued to share how it happened, saying, “I lived right behind Kitson [the boutique in Los Angeles]. One of my neighbors was a dermatologist at Cedars.” “I go in there, and he’s like, ‘There’s a one in a billion chance that you will get a huge indent in your butt,’” the reality star added. She then responded, “Of course I get a huge indent on my butt.” 

Kardashian then addressed the rumors, revealing what made people speculate she had implants. “There is a picture of me in Miami wearing an electric blue dress, and another picture of me walking down Robertson. You see the indent. And I think that’s when the rumours started, ‘She’s had implants.’”

A decade later, Kardashian continues to face several cosmetic procedure rumors and speculations. Some of the parts that many believe she has altered are her cheeks and nose. However, the internet is filled with dermatologists speculating that the reality TV star opts for non-surgical procedures to maintain her appearance. She has continuously denied plastic surgery accusations.
