Salma Hayek made the streets of New York her runway as she stepped out in yet another striking look. The actress, who recently celebrated her 60th birthday, put age-related expectations aside in a sheer all-black ensemble. The actress also discussed her latest birthday celebration during the appearance.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, the 60-year-old appeared on Live With Kelly and Mark to promote her latest war drama, Without Blood. The actress turned heads in a lacy black dress that came down to her ankles. Its plunging neckline was partly covered with floral lace, along with another cutout detail. 

The sheer fabric also extended to the long sleeves, which hugged her arms. The rest of the dress was more opaque, with a cinched waist that accentuated her silhouette. At the bottom, tulle ruffles added a dramatic touch and movement to the look as she walked.

Hayek did not opt for sheer minimalism as she accessorized her look with a gold chain. She added a black belt with gold hardware across her waist to give her dress more structure. Pairing the look with black platform heels, she kept the monochromatic theme going with her Gucci Borsetto bag and oversized sunglasses.

At one point on the show, Hayek stole her fans’ hearts as she met the studio audience. The show runners shared a clip of her brief fan meeting on Instagram in which she could be seen hugging a few women in the stands. An Instagram user wrote, “She is so down to earth!” while another penned, “Love her, so beautiful inside and out!” 

According to Hola!, Hayek also shared how she celebrated her milestone birthday. Stepping into a new era, the Frida star revealed, “I had a huge party.” She further shared how she was thrown a surprise party in Rome. However, she found out about the surprise beforehand.

“I did [find out]; it was awful. Like 10 people called me, like, ‘I don’t know if I can make it!’ What?!” Hayek joked. She reportedly celebrated with her family and close friends, including Angelina Jolie. 

While Hayek did not share glimpses of her 60th birthday bash with her fans, she did give a sneak peek into her skinny-dipping session. She took to Instagram and shared two pictures that left little to the imagination. In the first one, the Eternals star lay on the ground in the water, with the water obscuring her body. 

In another picture, the Grown Ups star could be seen coming out of a dive. She simply showed her back to the camera, hiding her face, while her hair covered her body. “60 and grateful,” the 60-year-old wrote in the caption. 

Many fans refused to believe that Hayek recently entered her 60s. “60 yet ageless…. Father Time must be smitten with you,” a fan wrote. Another Instagram user penned, “Salma Hayek is 60 years old? Wow! Her beauty has not changed a bit.” 

One of them also claimed that her beauty is “age-defying.” “She will always define talent and beauty for me,” another fan announced. Some also lauded Hayek for staying natural and unfiltered at 60, while many others wished her a happy birthday.
