It’s been a few months since we heard anything more about those rumors that Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo “Edo” Mapelli Mozzi, were having marital issues and could be headed for Splitsville.

But a source has come forward, telling Women’s Day that things between the princess and Edo have gotten to the point where “divorce seems to be inevitable.” The chatter about a possible separation started up again on July 17, when the pair did not publicly mark or celebrate their wedding anniversary.

“It really doesn’t look good,” the insider told the publication. “Even in the best case scenario, this proves he’s clearly in no mood to celebrate the relationship, or even try to put an end to all the rumours that have been swirling for months now about trouble in the marriage. Naturally, a lot of people are taking it as strong evidence that he’s got one foot out the door and that divorce seems to be inevitable.”

The source further claimed that Edo’s “been pulling away from his wife more and more ever since this scandal erupted with her parents. Edo bolts to America or other far-flung places seemingly any chance he gets, so in that sense he’s the one who’s left her high and dry … The timing is suspicious, and it comes at a time where they seem more disconnected than ever.”

It seems Beatrice may have Edo heard the critics because days later, art curator Aliki Lampropoulos posted a photo of the two together in Athens, Greece on her Instagram Stories. However, it’s not clear when the snap was actually taken.

Friends of the couple have previously shot down rumors that their marriage is in any trouble, insisting, “Reports that things aren’t good between them are not true at all. Things are great between them.”

Instead of relying on pure speculation, we’re taking a look at what the royal and her hubby’s Life Path numbers say about them and their relationship.

According to Numerologist.com, with a Life Path number of 6 (Beatrice) and 7 (Edo), this is one of the more genuinely challenging pairings in numerology — the classical tradition consistently flags it as discordant, and the reasons are structural, not just stylistic. The 6 needs warmth, responsiveness, and shared social life. The 7 needs solitude, silence, and private inner space. These requirements pull in different directions.

“The 7’s need for solitude and the 6’s need for responsiveness are structurally at odds. When the 7 retreats to recharge — as they must — the 6 tends to read this as emotional withdrawal or rejection. The 7 isn’t withdrawing from the relationship; they’re withdrawing from stimulation. But from the outside, these look identical.”

In order for them to make things work, they must “learn to tell the difference, and help each other make that distinction clear.”

Princess Beatrice and Edo, who were married on July 17, 2020, have two daughters together, Sienna and Athena. Edo also has a son, Christopher Woolf nicknamed “Wolfie,” from his previous relationship with architect Dara Huang.
