While Orlando Bloom didn’t walk the red carpet at the Met Gala, he did appear at an after-party. His proximity to Meredith Duxbury, a makeup artist, has everyone questioning if love is in the air. Apparently, it is not. Still, the recent rumors have us thinking about all of the people he has been linked to since the end of his romance with Katy Perry.
Orlando Bloom was linked to Meredith Duxbury thanks to one photo
The rumor mill kicked off fast and furious on the evening of May 4, when Orlando Bloom was spotted heading into Sabrina Carpenter and Madonna’s Met Gala afterparty. The dapper actor walked in alongside Meredith Duxbury, sparking speculation about a potential romance. Here is the thing, though. Duxbury and Bloom walked in looking relaxed, but didn’t interact in any way that suggested they were romantically linked.
TMZ has confirmed that while they were at the same party, they did not actually attend the event together. In fact, the outlet insists Duxbury and Bloom had not met before that moment, and don’t appear to have plans to get to know each other on a romantic level at this time. The incorrect relationship update is nothing new for Bloom. He has been rumored to be seeing numerous women since his split with Perry. In fact, rumor has it that he actually attended the post-Met event with another woman entirely.
Rumors have followed Bloom since the breakup
Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s breakup last summer made headlines, but what they’ve done since that split has been even bigger news. Perry moved on quickly, making things official with Justin Trudeau just a few months after the breakup.
Bloom has yet to confirm a romance, but there have been lots of rumors. Back in July, just as news of the breakup surfaced, Bloom was linked to Sydney Sweeney, whom he was spotted speaking to at the wedding of Jeff and Lauren Bezos. Sweeney was actually getting hot and heavy with Scooter Braun, instead. He was later linked to Rachel Lynn Matthews. The rumor kicked off after a photo of her mocking Katy Perry at a Halloween party surfaced. Bloom wasn’t dating her either, though.
While rumors linked Bloom to Duxbury because of a coincidental arrival at a party, Bloom actually showed up at the event with a special someone. At least, insiders claim he was there with a lady he’s been spotted with before. Rumor has it that Bloom was actually at the post-gala event with Luisa Laemmel. Bloom and the Swiss model were seen looking cozy at the Super Bowl back in February, and reportedly vacationed together in Switzerland just recently. While they weren’t seen at the event together, insiders insist they were, in fact, there together.
Neither Bloom nor Laemmel has confirmed a romance, though.
