Who Is Portuguese Soccer Star Bruno Fernandes’ Wife, Ana Pinho?
Soccer star Bruno Fernandes has established himself as one of the sport’s top attacking midfielders thanks to his creativity, leadership, and ability to score crucial goals. Fernandes says Pinho often paid for their dates because he was broke
Pinho was born in Portugal on April 18, 1994. She and Fernandes first met as teenagers while attending Boavista High School. Their romance survived the challenges of Fernandes’ early career as he pursued professional soccer and financial instability.
“Ana has been with me on this ride since we were 16, 17, 18 years old,” he told The Sun. “We met as teenagers, and when we first started dating, I wasn’t making any money as a footballer, and she had a nice job working as a futsal referee on the weekends.
“She used to do three or four matches in a row on a Saturday, and then we would always go to the cinema on Sundays. I personally didn’t have much money at the time so Ana was the one who had to pay for our movie tickets. Same with going out to dinner. Even at the pizza shop, she had to pay.”
Fernandes added, “From day one, we have pursued this dream together. Look at where we are now ….The tough times, they have never broken us.”

After dating for several years, the couple tied the knot in December 2015.
In an interview with Voce na TV, Fernandes talked about his proposal to Pinho, sharing, “It was a beautiful moment, it was in front of the whole family.
“I was nervous, but she was more nervous than me because when she began to open the gift, she began to realize that something was coming …[she] even dropped the ring.”

Fernandes and Pinho are parents to two children.
Their oldest, a daughter, Matilde, was born in 2017, followed by their second child, a son, Gonçalo, who they welcomed in 2020.
