Prince Louis Scolded by Mom Kate and Big Brother Prince George for ‘Mini-Drama’ on Balcony
Another big royal event meant another opportunity for Prince William and the Princess of Wales’ (formerly known as Kate Middleton) youngest child, Prince Louis, to steal the show, and he did just that.
On June 14, 2025, the royals came together during the Trooping the Colour to celebrate King Charles’ official birthday. When they made their traditional balcony appearance to watch a flypast, Prince Louis began waving to the crowds gathered below.
The young prince was amused that every time he waved the crowd cheered, so he started doing it again and again. But when his big brother, Prince George, realized what he was doing, he got him to knock it off by grabbing his arm and appeared to tell him to stop it.
And Prince George wasn’t the only one who corrected Louis for his antics while on the balcony. Mom Kate was also seen putting Louis in his place as he got a firm warning from the princess.
Speaking to The Mirror, lip reader Jeremy Freeman shared that Kate appeared to give her youngest son a command, telling him: “National anthem. Louis, stand.”
The prince knew his mom meant business after that and almost immediately straightened his posture.
Some commenters took to Reddit to share their thoughts on the interaction writing, “They all seem to have their hands full with little Louis,” and “As the mother of 3 kids, nothing is more relatable than this little mini drama.”
