Psychic Predicts How the US Team Will Do in 2026 FIFA World Cup and Which Players Will Shine
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is underway, with the United States hosting 78 matches across 11 cities.
With so much excitement for the sport in the country now, American soccer fans have been wondering just how far the U.S. team can go. In the modern era, the furthest the USMNT has reached is the quarterfinals back in 2002.
Well, now an astrologer has turned to Tarot to explore how the team and several of its players will fare in this tournament.
How the USMNT will do in the World Cup
Inbaal Honigman is a celebrity psychic astrologer who has been reading Tarot since the ’90s. She has appeared in the media for more than 20 years, giving her predictions for Big Brother’s Little Brother, Elle Magazine, and talkSPORT radio, to name a few.
Speaking on behalf of the Tarot platform Tarotoo, Honigman told Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “Team USA will show up playing a speedy, committed game, with an unbroken air of determination at every stage. Their Tarot cards are creative, and they show a fascinating strategy of splitting into two strong units during matches.
“The keepers and defenders will form tight-knit units and play closely together, creating an immovable shield around their goal, while the attacking unit will spread far and wide across the pitch, giving the impression of constant movement and numbers everywhere.”
Honigman added, “This tactic could see the American team advance further than expected. Some celebrity fans and girlfriends may turn USA matches into more of a showbiz-style event, but that could ultimately be their downfall. The huge hype may get under the players’ skin and become a distraction.”
Which players could struggle and which could shine
Honigman also read the Tarot for some of the USMNT’s players and shared that team captain Christian Pulisic got “the Transformation Tarot card. He is predicted to produce some unexpected moves that would appear impossible. He’ll play a more isolated game, less collaborative than the others, and could score a magical goal which he alone is responsible for from beginning to end.”
For midfielder Weston McKennie, Honigman pulled “the 4 of Pentacles Tarot card. His solid and dependable nature could be a challenge, as he may struggle to adapt to any required changes during a game.” She also revealed that “the Knight of Wands card” for striker Folarin Balogun shows “over-exerting himself to the point of exhaustion. There is a risk of injury or collapse as he tries to give his all.”
The astrologer added that “the Magician Tarot card” for fellow striker Ricardo Pepi means that “Ricardo’s diversity of skills and abilities will make him one of the most important men on the pitch, as he is seen juggling many moves and opportunities like a chess player, not a football player. His brain will show up for each game, not just his legs.”
And for Gio Reyna, Honigman pulled “the World Tarot card” and predicted, “Gio to be the hero of the World Cup for Team USA, as he operates in a central, focal role, leading and coordinating, but not seeking any glory.”
