Quincy Brown, 34, has long shared a close relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs, who helped raise him during his years-long relationship with Brown’s mother, Kim Porter. Although Diddy is not Brown’s biological father (Brown is the son of Porter and singer Al B. Sure!), the Bad Boy founder has repeatedly described Brown as his own.

In December 2025, Brown remembered the late Porter with a sweet birthday post on Instagram. He included a grainy photo of Porter when she was alive. She’s smiling and wearing a Chanel sweatshirt, looking at ease.

“Happy Birthday Mommy!” he captioned the post. “Forever blessed and grateful for the strength you instilled in me.”

Brown then included a “crazy story” about how he got the photo of Porter.

“Crazy story … an old camera of mine that I gave to my mom somehow ended up at a flea market/auction,” Brown explained. “The guy who found it recognized me in the photos and actually tracked me down… shoutout to him. I bought it back for $35. The icing on the cake? This was the very last photo in the camera. Felt like a sign. Had to share this gem wit yall on her day. I love you Mommy!”

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY,” the twins captioned the post. “We love u sooooooo much. We miss you so freaking much and we know you are always walking by our sides. #foreverkp.”

Christian commented on the post with three heart-eyed emojis. And he created a post of his own. Christian’s Instagram tribute included a carousel of photos of himself as a toddler with Porter. He also included photos of him growing up with Porter by his side. Finally, he added photos of Porter during her modeling days.
