Real Estate Records Support Jessi Draper’s Take on Jordan Ngatikaura’s Divorce Filing
Jessi Draper contends that she was blindsided by Jordan Ngatikaura’s recent divorce filing. While the couple’s issues were documented on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Draper insisted they had been working through it all, or, at the very least, they still seemed to be sort of trying. The footage seems to support that. Real Estate records support it, too. Jessi Draper and Jordan Ngatikaura purchased a home together just months before he filed for divorce. The purchase would be considered unconventional for a couple on the brink of a nasty split.
Jessi Draper said Jordan Ngatikaura blindsided her with their divorce
Jessi Draper is not sad to see Jordan Ngatikaura walk out of her life. Anyone who has seen an episode of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives could tell that the pair, who married in 2020, were not compatible. In fact, Draper insists she was the one who initiated the split that led to Ngatikaura’s divorce filing. Still, she insists she was “blindsided” by her estranged husband’s lightning-fast filing.
During an appearance on Call Her Daddy, Draper revealed she felt “betrayed” by Ngatikaura’s swift filing for divorce without giving her or their shared children a heads-up. She claims she learned of her split along with the rest of the world. Draper insists she initiated the breakup, so what’s the big shock? Her sense of betrayal might stem from the couple’s long history of breakups and makeups. One could theorize that she didn’t expect it to stick.
Regardless of what went horribly wrong, it seems whatever it was happened quickly. According to recent records, the couple was confident enough in thier marriage late last year to make a huge real estate purchase together.
Real estate records indicate that they were planning to be together long-term
While The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fans seemed a bit skeptical of Jessi Draper’s take on her divorce, real estate records might support her assertion that she was blindsided by the split. TMZ obtained real estate records that show Draper and Ngatikaura had purchased a sprawling Utah home together just months before Ngatikaura’s divorce filing.
According to the records, the pair closed on a 7,000-square-foot home in Lehi, Utah, in November 2025. The $2 million property has six bedrooms, multiple decks, and a resort-style pool and pickleball court. Ngatikaura filed for divorce just four months later, and it appears he might have been the one to move out of the shared abode. He was spotted, shortly after the split, shopping for home decor items not far from where he and Draper once lived together.
It is unclear what the couple will do with the property now that they’re headed to divorce court. Their financial situation has surely just gotten a bit more precarious, as the production of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 5 remains on hiatus indefinitely.
