Several months after her breakup with actor Louis Partridge, Olivia Rodrigo stepped out on a date with Cameron Winter. The Geese singer got dinner with Rodrigo in Los Angeles this week. Winter’s success in the music industry is relatively new, and some have accused him of being an industry plant. According to new reporting, their recent blow-up was potentially engineered by a PR agency.

Olivia Rodrigo recently stepped out on a date with Geese singer Cameron Winter

On Tuesday, April 14, TMZ captured footage of Rodrigo and Winter together in Los Angeles. The pair appeared happy while leaving a dinner date together.

Rodrigo kept it casual in jeans, a t-shirt, a red cardigan, and a Chateau Marmont hat. Winter wore a black Champion shirt and dark pants.

Both Winter and Rodrigo were recently featured on the new Help(2) Benefit Compilation. Neither has spoken about their possible budding romance.

Some have accused Olivia Rodrigo’s date of being an industry plant

Geese rocketed to fame in late 2025. They played Saturday Night Live, scored a slot at Coachella, and earned widespread acclaim from critics. While it’s impossible to deny their success, some have accused them of being a “psyop” and wondered if marketing is behind their rise to fame.

New reporting by Wired found that this actually was the case. Co-founders of the digital marketing company Chaotic Good Projects discussed their process of “trend simulation” on the On The Record podcast. The firm creates a network of social media pages that drive interest in a band. Songs in the background of videos, burner accounts, and manufactured comments can create discourse around previously unknown artists.

“We can drive impressions on anything at this point,” co-founder Andrew Spelman said, adding, “We know how to go viral. We have thousands of pages.”

Chaotic Good co-founder Adam Tarsia confirmed to Wired that they engineered campaigns for Geese and Winter’s solo career.

“We helped distribute clips of them performing and doing some interviews on TikTok,” Tarsia said. “I understand that ‘industry plant’ discourse is inevitable, but we’ve had the pleasure of being Geese fans since their 2021 project Projector.”

Her relationship with Louis Partridge recently ended

Rodrigo’s date with Winter comes just months after her romance with Partridge reportedly ended. The couple began dating in 2023 and parted ways in late 2025.

“They made such a lovely couple so people who know them were shocked when they heard,” a source told the U.S. Sun. “It’s not been the easiest few weeks for them and they decided it’s better to be apart for now.”

Rodrigo was reportedly emotional at a party hosted by Lily Allen.

“Olivia was at Lily’s party and emotional when she was talking about it,” the source said. “Her friends have rallied around her but it’s just been pretty rough. It’s really sad right now.”

Their split has led many fans to theorize that Rodrigo’s upcoming album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, will have songs about Partridge.
