Virgos, who are born between August 23 and September 22, are known for being the helpful problem solvers of the Zodiac. People with this sign are typically grounded, analytical, and organized. They are reliable and resourceful, but can be prone to criticism of both themselves and others.

Those aren’t necessarily qualities that you would think would be a good match for reality TV, which thrives on drama, chaos, and confrontation. But Virgo are surprisingly one of the most common astrological sign across the Real Housewives franchise. While they don’t love the spotlight as much as Leos and aren’t as dramatic as Geminis, a Virgo’s meticulous and critical nature and tendency to micro-manage can still make for compelling TV (especially when they clash with those feisty Geminis and Leos). Here are five notable Real Housewives born under the sign of the Virgin. 

Lisa Vanderpump 

Real Housewives and Vanderpump Rules icon might just be the classic Virgo. The RHOBH alum (who was born September 15) is famous for her careful attention to detail, throwing her energy into designing restaurants like SUR or her new Vanderpump Hotel in Las Vegas. She brought that same level of focus on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Lisa doesn’t go in for theatrics or screaming matches, instead preferring to methodically pull strings and orchestrate situations with calculated precision.

Tamra Judge 

Tamra Judge (born September 2) from The Real Housewives of Orange County has a keen Virgo eye that she uses to identify flaws in herself – and in her castmates. Tamra isn’t afraid to dissect her RHOC costars’ secrets, hypocrisies, and personal lives. She takes meticulous notes on everyone’s vulnerabilities and uses that information to her advantage, whether it’s stirring the pot at dinner parties or calling out the other ladies in her confessionals.

Sutton Stracke 

Another RHOBH Virgo, Sutton Stracke (born September 20) embodies the sign’s need for control, as well as their high standards and sometimes anxious nature. Sutton’s Virgo traits can lean toward the neurotic, especially with her standards around etiquette and order. When routines or social norms break down, her Virgo anxiety rises. Kim Richards 

Kim Richards from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (born September 19) embodies some less-familiar Virgo traits, including sensitivity and a tendency to be a hard worker. During her time on RHOBH, Kim often demonstrated a gentle, nature-loving, and deeply empathetic side, especially when it came to her complicated family.
