Reality Star Shares Update on Status of Her TLC Show, ‘1000-lb Roomies’
Nesha Harris doesn’t know if she’ll be returning to TLC.
Recently, the 1000-lb Roomies star took to Instagram to thank her fans for their support, and to share that she is in dark about the show’s future.
“WE DON’T KNOW ABOUT A SEASON 2 sorry i have no information for you guys,” she wrote in the March 31 post. “This is just a post showing my gratitude.”
In June 2025, TLC expanded its 1000-lb franchise (which also includes 1000-lb Sisters and 1000-lb Best Friends) to include 1000-lb Roomies. The show followed Nesha, who lives in Riverside, California, and her roommate Jasmine “Jaz” Wallace on their weight-loss journey.
While TLC hasn’t revealed whether or not the show will be back for season 2, Nesha said she’s “grateful beyond words” for the chance to share her story with viewers.
“Being part of 1000-lb Roomies on TLC has truly been one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life,” she wrote. “From filming to sharing our stories with the world, every moment has meant so much to me.”
“None of this would have been possible without the incredible production team, Jazz, and every single person who tuned in and supported us along the way,” she added. “Thank you to everyone who watched, laughed, learned, and showed us love. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something so special.”
1000-lb Roomies Season 1 is streaming on HBO Max.
