Missing Rehab Addict? Nicole Curtis understands that fans are impatient to see new episodes of her HGTV show, but she’s urging them to be patient.

Nicole Curtis addresses the future of ‘Rehab Addict’

Curtis’ home renovation series returned to HGTV in June after a long break between seasons. But the show was abruptly pulled from the air after just a couple of episodes aired, leaving viewers scratching their heads – and worried that the show might have been canceled

At the time, Curtis said in a social media update that she’d “made the executive decision to [shelve] the rest of our new shows until Fall.”

Now spooky season is here, but Rehab Addict is still missing from HGTV’s schedule. So, what gives? Curtis addressed the situation in an October 24 Instagram update.

“I hear you -ITS FALL !!!!and I promised you the episodes in Fall,” she wrote. “It’s still Fall. I had a really great network call today and I was asked the same question -where’s the shows?”

HGTV star wanted to rework future episodes of her show

Curist – who is also an executive producer of Rehab Addict – said she was taking her time to make sure the upcoming episodes were absolutely perfect before they aired.

“I recut them. So, I’m in post getting them put back in the hopper that puts them on air. This is unheard of, typically, because production is production and talent is talent and no one would spend money when they don’t have to,” she explained. “However, I’m the talent and I am the production and I rewatched these and thought -I have a different idea now. So, I took some rug money (not drug money, my actual rug money) and I reshot a ‘few’ things.”

“I’m in the process of delivering the new ones,” she added. “And I’ve been here a long time-no one puts Rehab Addict on the Bingo Card til you, actually, get word from me that it’s a winnable bet to schedule aka wait for me to hand deliver the episodes as I want them.”

Past seasons of Rehab Addict are streaming on HBO Max.
