Williams then mentioned her then-16-year-old son, Kevin Hunt Jr. “And let me tell you something, as the mother of a now 16-year-old …,” Williams said.

Diddy interrupted her and added, “Mhm, who I met backstage. He’s a great young man.”

Williams appeared to trip over her words after this. “You, you represent a lot to a lot of people in general,” she continued. “I mean you’re an example to people who aren’t Black, like, Yes we can, yes we can.’ You’re an example to boys, like your boys, my boys, their boys, boys in general.”

Fans commented on the video that Combs’ mention of meeting Williams’ son appeared like a “threat.”

Problems erupted between Wendy Williams and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs after she questioned his sexuality

Wendy Williams explained in the past that she was fired from radio show Hot 97 in 1998. While on the show, she expressed that she believed Combs was gay. While she didn’t explicitly go on to say that Combs had her fired, she implied it on several occasions.

“Wendy’s feud with Diddy goes way back because, keep in mind, they sort of came up together,” reporter Carlos Greer said in a special presented by Extra, according to Knewz.

“She knew what the streets were talking about, and she just wanted to deliver the message,” radio host Henry Brown said. “She was always talking about Puff and alluding to all of these parties … but back then, no one had no idea this stuff was going on. It was just rumored. It’s just crazy now, today, this is all now blowing up.”

“When I watch TMZ, and I see the stuff that goes on, I’m like, ‘Oh my God,'” she said. “… And as far as Diddy, Diddy will go to prison for life, people. You don’t know things that I do about Diddy back in the day. And you wanna know what? It’s about time, people. It is about time. Diddy done.”
