‘RHOA’ Alum Kandi Burruss ‘Stepping Into a New Chapter’ as She Announces Divorce From Todd Tucker
Bravo icon Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker are splitting up after more than a decade of marriage.
“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,” The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum told People.
“I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth,” Burruss continued. “I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.”
Burrus, 49, and Tucker, 52, began dating 2011 after meeting during filming for RHOA Season 4. They married in 2014 and have two children, a son, Ace, 9, and a daughter, Blaze, 5. Both Burruss and Tucker also have adult children from previous relationships, including Riley Burruss, 23, who stars in Bravo’s Next Gen NYC.
Just a few days ago, Burruss praised her husband as she accepted the Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon 2025.
“To Todd, thank you for surviving the blogs the shade, the rumors, the lies, the truth, the almost fights, the actual fights, the reunions,” she said. “You earned this award too.”
