Rihanna Steps Out in Unique Dress That Leaves Fans Divided and Sparks Theories
Rihanna is a fashion icon and knows how to pull off just about any look. But one dress she was spotted in as she headed to dinner in Paris has fans divided.
One week after attending Celine Dion‘s comeback residency at the Plénitude Arena, Rihanna took in the “My Heart Will Go On” singer’s show for a second time and again hit up César restaurant.
The first night RiRi attended Dion’s concert and grabbed a late-night dinner, she rocked a Tom Ford power suit. For her Sept. 23 outing, the Fenty founder rocked a Ferragamo dress that sparked plenty of speculation from fans.
The gown, which is from the Italian label’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, featured a sheer top with ruffled, tiered sleeves and a high neckline designed by creative director Maximilian Davis. Rihanna sported a black bra underneath the transparent top, while the lower portion transitioned into a voluminous metallic pleated skirt.
The look comes from Davis’ collection that was presented during Milan Fashion Week in February. According to Ferragamo’s description, Davis drew inspiration from the artistic and cultural landscape of the 1920s, incorporating experimental textures and modern silhouettes while referencing the fashion house’s heritage.
The star paired the dramatic dress with black satin Amina Muaddi Felicia Mule 100 heels. Those shoes retail for $1,100. She also wore sunglasses and had her hair half-up, half down in spiral curls.
While many fans praised the look calling it “beautiful,” saying the outfit was “classy” and Rihanna “slayed” again, not everyone was in agreement.
“Come on now. We love riri but this outfit is … no mam,” one commenter wrote. Another added, “What a horror!” And a third surprised by the ensemble asked, “What is she wearing?”
Moreover, the dress’s dramatic cinched hem that gave the skirt an exaggerated silhouette as she moved through the Paris night had some fans forming opinions that she could be trying to hide something.
“Baby no 4 on the way,” one person posted, while a second said, “Pregnant!” Another suspected that the placement of Rihanna’s bag when she walked to the car was also strategic, posting, “She definitely is hiding something with her purse.” Someone else jumped in the conversation to remind everyone that “Everything doesn’t have to be tight.” But the pregnancy talk continued.
The “Umbrella” hitmaker, who currently shares three children–RZA, Riot, and Rocki–with her partner, A$AP Rocky, shut down pregnancy rumors earlier this year. What we know for sure is if RiRi is expecting again, she will announce it in her own way when she’s ready. And until then, fans will continue to speculate.
