Royal Embarrassment: Netflix Reveals Dismal Viewership Numbers for ‘With Love, Meghan’ Holiday Special
Not many people RSVPed to the Duchess of Sussex’s holiday party.
The viewership numbers are in for the latest installment of Meghan Markle’s lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, and they aren’t pretty. With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration didn’t even crack the top 1,000 of Netflix’s most watched shows in the second half of 2025, according to the streaming service’s latest “What We Watched” report, released on Tuesday.
The hour-long special, which featured Prince Harry’s wife sharing her favorite holiday traditions, seasonal crafts, and family recipes, landed at number 1,015 on the ranking of Netflix shows, with 2.4 million views. That’s on par with the first season of iCarly, season 2 of Sex and the City, and season 10 of Friends. The first season of Suits, the USA Network drama which featured Meghan as a cast member, had 8.8 million views.
With Love, Meghan Season 1, which was released in March 2025, has 600,000 views. Season 2, which was released in late August, had 2 million views.
Will Netflix cancel ‘With Love, Meghan’?
Netflix has not made any official announcement about the future of With Love, Meghan. But there are unconfirmed reports that the show has been canceled.
“It’s not returning as a series. There have been conversations about holiday specials, but there’s nothing in the works yet,” an insider told Page Six.
Last year, Meghan and Harry’s company Archewell Productions transitioned to a first-look deal with the streamer. That allows the Sussexes to shop projects to other buyers if Netflix isn’t interested.
Harry and Meghan’s other Netflix projects didn’t make much of a dent in the latest list of most–watched shows. Polo, which was released in December 2024, had 100,000 views. Harry & Meghan, which came out in late 2022, has 600,000. Two other series, Heart of Invictus (2023) and Live to Lead (2022), did not appear on the list at all, meaning they had less than 50,000 views over the last six months of 2025.
