Prince Harry Warned One ‘Big Danger’ Could Push His Marriage to Meghan Markle to Breaking Point
Prince Harry’s return to Britain has fueled fresh speculation about his marriage to Meghan Markle. On July 22, Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice newsletter claimed that the couple was “living very separate lives now… beyond work schedules.”
An unnamed source said that they now had “different priorities, different routines” and were spending “much less time together than people realize.” Their return to Britain has only fueled more talk. People reported last month that Harry had “never really stopped missing home.”
He wanted his children to know Britain, too. ITV News also said that the move could help Archie and Lilibet “create bonds with the country in which their grandfather is the Monarch.” Markle, though, plans to keep her work and California ties close.
Astrologer TJ believes that their different views could cause friction. “This is where their astrology becomes really interesting. Harry’s Taurus Moon could become extremely comfortable being back in Britain. Taurus loves familiarity and once it feels settled somewhere, it doesn’t particularly want things changing again,” he said.
He added, “Meghan’s Leo Sun is different. Leo needs independence, individuality and the freedom to create its own path. The tarot card I’ve pulled around potential arguments is the Five of Wands, which represents competing priorities, outside interference and different people all wanting different things.”
For TJ, Harry’s possible wish to reconnect with his family sits at the heart of it. “Harry may increasingly want family gatherings, relationships repaired and his children connected to his family and heritage.” Markle may support those efforts. But TJ claimed she would want to protect the life they have built away from the Royal Family.
“Harry could feel, they’re my family. Meghan could feel, We’re your family too. Neither is necessarily wrong,” TJ said. He concluded, “The biggest danger isn’t the move itself. It’s allowing all the unresolved emotions surrounding Harry’s past to move into their marriage with them.”
Harry and Markle’s return to Britain came after signs of a rapprochement with King Charles. The couple reunited with Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House in July 2026. It was their first family meeting in four years. Harry had also been open about wanting to fix the rift with Charles.
After losing his UK security appeal in May 2025, he told the BBC, “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight any more, life is precious.” He also spoke about Charles’ health, saying, “I don’t know how much longer my father has.”
Charles announced his cancer diagnosis in February 2024. Harry flew from California to see his father soon after. Harry and Markle announced their royal exit in January 2020. In a statement posted on their Sussex Royal website, they said they would “step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family” and work toward financial independence.
They initially planned to split their time between Britain and North America. They then moved through Canada and Los Angeles, settling in Montecito, California, in July 2020. Their family later grew with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
