Did Princess Diana have a warning about her tragic fate?

An astrologer who worked closed with the late royal revealed that shortly before her death, she spotted something odd in Diana’s chart.

Princess Diana thought this astrological sign indicated a positive change

Debbie Frank met with the Princess of Wales roughly a month before her death 29 years ago on August 31, 1997, at age 36. While looking over Diana’s chart, Frank noticed an eclipse – an event that can signal major life changes or shifts. In the past, these eclipses had coincided with other life-changing events for Diana, such as the news of her separation from Charles or the birth of her first son, William.

“Diana was happy because we decided it was the start of a new life,” Frank told The Sun in a 2017 interview.

“She seemed calm, happy and optimistic about the future and told me, ‘My life is moving in a different way’. She saw it as a positive,” Frank added.

“I spoke to her after that meeting, in a final phone call, and she sounded wonderful and told me, ‘I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,’” the astrologer shared.

Princess of Wales’ astrologer ‘had no idea she would die’

Sadly, Diana’s hopes for a happier future did not come to pass. Instead, she died in a car accident in Paris, along with her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, and the car’s driver, Henri Paul.

While Diana’s astrological chart pointed toward change, there was no way to know that her death was imminent, Frank said.

“I had no idea she would die. I would never have been able to stop it. Let’s get one thing clear, astrologers can’t predict death,” she explained. “So I couldn’t tell her not to get into a car, or to stay at home. Some things are tragic fate.”

Frank was just one of multiple astrologers, psychics, and spiritual advisors whom Diana consulted over the years. One, psychic Rita Rogers, reportedly gave Diana and Dodi an ominous warning not long before their accident.

“Shortly before her death, Diana asked her longtime friend and spiritual advisor Rita Rogers to do a reading for her then-boyfriend Dodi Fayed,” Christopher Andersen, author of The King, said in a 2024 interview with Fox News Digital. “Diana wanted to know what the future had in store for him. Rogers claimed to be visited by the spirit of Dodi’s dead mother Samira, who warned her son not to go driving in Paris.”

Rogers allegedly “saw a tunnel, motorcycles, this tremendous sense of speed,’” according to Andersen. “Rogers told Diana to warn Dodi, but at the time it didn’t occur to her that Diana might be in the car alongside him. ‘I would have warned her as well,’ Rogers said, ‘but I just didn’t see her in the car with him.’ Spooky stuff.”
